My dog loves this ball. Of course the rope doesn't last long, but the ball does. Great even for a 95lb Rottweiler. I was surprised.

This is my second one of these. The first one is lost in the woods due to an errant throw. This thing stands up to my German Shepherd and he loves to play with it.

I have a 65lb pittie mix who is a monster chewer...even though he's missing a bunch of teeth from a car accident. The only thing that holds up is the black Kong extreme. Some are better shapes than others, but the ball holds up pretty well. The rope was a gamble (I've had the ball without the rope before) that did not succeed. He had that thing shredded in 10 min. But the ball is great. Next time, I'll stick to just the ball without the rope.

After roughly 25 minutes of supervised play, the rope broke. There was no excessive chewing going on, and similar toys from other brands typically last a month in my house. So less than 24 hours after receiving this I essentially have a very expensive Kong ball with no rope. I would highly recommend another product, or just buying a dog rope and Kong ball separately and throwing them together yourself.

Took my dog about a week to chew through the knots and take the rope off the ball.

I’ve purchased Kong dog toys for aggressive chewers in the past and have always loved there quality. I like that my dogs a Pit bull and a Lab mix can chew and chew on these toys and cannot completely destroy them. This ball and rope are no different! These toys are made of some kind of super strong rubber where they satisfy their chewing urges. Its been a few months of hard chewing and the ball and rope are still intact! They are a little pricey but worth it to me vs other aggressive chewer dog toys that either get chewed up easily or are made of hard plastic. These are made of super tough rubber. My go to for aggressive chewer dog toys. Oh I buy the “Black”Kong Toys. They are the toughest of all 👍🏼

The fact that the rope deteriorated so quickly indicates a design flaw that cannot be ignored. If your dog is an enthusiastic chewer or tends to be rough during tug-of-war play, the rope may not withstand their antics, putting the overall durability of the toy into question.Additionally, the compromised durability of the rope raises safety concerns. With the rope being so easily chewed through, there is an increased risk of your dog swallowing rope fibers or potentially choking on them. Failli perdre la corde 2 fois dans un arbre quand les nœuds se sont défaits l'un après l'autre. Vu le prix, les nœuds pourraient être plus costauds...
