My Mom has recently fallen ill.... The nurses mentioned mandatory exercises to keep her not only healthy, but safe. Aside from exercises for upper body and upper thighs, hand strength is critical too. If a person falls, what may save them from a bad fall are their hands. Gripping something to keep them from falling, or using hands to soften the fall. These little balls are just the right size. We liked the varied pressures so she could work her way into a stong grip. Mom uses these everyday!

I like the egg-shape better than the round and I like the material that these are made of. They are not the spongy type of exercise ball that you never really feel are completely clean.The egg shape allows you to, not only allows you to exercise the whole hand but to also isolate individual fingers and apply pressure selectively.The one thing I find odd is that I really can't detect that much difference between the three strengths.I use them while watching TV each night. I sure hope that this exercise will restore some of my lost hand strength. I have gotten to where I can hardly open a jar or squeeze a garlic press. It's still too early to tell.

I use these when I receive injections! Works great to have something to squeeze. Only wish they were slightly larger so when I squeeze hard my fingernails do not go into my palm.

Very hard and unusable until i regain strength. I find that it is very difficult to differentiate the different densities. Even the 'soft' one is too tough to squeeze. They fit nicely in my small hands and so far they seem quite durable. I will state that I do not like the lack of a guide. It would have been very helpful.

I have an autoimmune disease and the softer yellow egg provides excellent resistance for my weaker hand in a variety of squeezing positions. The red and blue eggs provide sufficient resistance to challenge even a healthy and strong grip.

This imported product has a Prop 65 warning: "This product can expose you to chemicals including DEHP which is known to the state of California to cause cancer ...." I agree with other buyers who said they can't tell the difference between the eggs, which are supposed to have different levels of resistance.

these were a gift for my grandfather who has Parkinson's disease so his hands are constantly moving, I thought this might help him focus that movement more. The different firmness is nice and the size is perfect for pretty much any hand. he seemed excited to try them out.cons: they do get things stuck to them they're made of silicone so you have to wash them if you drop them or something.
