BarskaSWAT Scope

I bought this for my S&W M&P 15-22 and I am very impressed with it. The optics are clear and the 2X magnification is really great. It doesn't have a fancy reticle like the expensive ones. It really is just a small red dot, but it works, and with the 11 position dimmer control for the red dot, it works great inside a range or out in full sunshine.This is obviously not a combat ready device, and the lens caps are plastic that you pull off and put in your pocket, but for the price, this thing is amazing. I love it.

The Barska 2x30 red dot has a lower profile than the cheaper BSA equiv. The dot is adjustable in intensity and can be seen easily in the daylight. The mount is made for a weaver rail, so this is not going to work on your .22 or air rifle unless you purchase a dovetail 11mm to weaver pictinny adapter. I am using it on my Browning Buckmark and it holds its zero very well. I believe the dot is 5 MOA, but I was able to group 3/4 at 25Y (3MOA) well 7/16 and 1 stray.These units are a great value and perform well.

I was looking for a tactical site with magnification and this 2x scope was perfect. It really enhances the sight picture while allowing quick pick up of the target. Good balance between a pure tactical sight and a low power scope.I agree with other comments about the parallax problem, but for my application it has been dead on. I mounted it on my S&W Model 22A pistol for use at 50 feet. At shorter or longer ranges I have to take parallax into consideration.

Great product, with a low cost. Bought used with nothing wrong with it and in original packaging. The scope is well made. I use it with my rifle, I scoped it in and haven't had to adjust it since the first use. Red dot has good features and is easily seen in the day.

I tried it on my pistol mod (40 cal). Although it is 2 x30, and has full eye relief, it strinks the target further away from your eye. So I tried it out on my AR15. This was my first red dot on a rifle, and I was not able to get tight groups. The red dot is not centered in the scope, while the target was easy to see, it products very wide groups. I went from 3 inch groups with the iron sights to 12 inch groups with the red dot at 50 yards. I'll think about a different sight for my AR for 50 plus yards.

The Barska 2 x 30 Red Dot Scope AC11090 looks good and has built-in mounts for Weaver style rail. It is compact in comparison to an optical scope. It is inexpensive. Unfortunately the parallax is so severe that moving the eye from one side of the field of view to the other shifts the POA (point of aim) more than 12 inches at 10 yards. The optics have obvious distortion and little magnification. I find open sights to be superior to this scope. I am therefore reluctantly requesting authorization to return it for a refund. (It may be suitable for an airsoft device.)

So i got this in yesterday, i havent used it but from what i can see is its not built the best but for my S&W M&P1522 it will work. Not for high calibers, just mainly plinking. Will post a review when i make it to the range.

Just mounted it on my Smith and Wesson 44 Magnum but had little time to try it out as we went on vacation the following day.
