Can this be mixed with latex paint to create a faux finish on a wall that has a latex satin base?

It’s more economical to buy a gallon of Behr Ultra (or whatever paint you prefer) in a deep base (whatever sheen you prefer). The deep base dries clear so don’t get it tinted, just buy it as is. You can adjust the “open” (workable) time by adding floetrol and water. You can also run a humidifier in the room to further enhance working time. Then, you adjust the opacity of your faux color by the ratio of paint to the above mix. For example, some faux techniques look best with a 5 part glaze to 1 part paint whereas others look best with a 25:1 ratio.
