So far so good. I'm 6'1" 165 pounds. I ordered medium but they were too small. Then I ordered large (in pics). They fit good.Update: after many rides I'm still very happy with these knee pads. They stay in place, slide on and off easily, and after a good wipeout protected my knees well. One note: definitely rotate the padding outward a bit so that the outside of your knee is partially protected since this is where you are likely to skid when falling.

These pads fit great and are thin enough to slide under a pair of jeans while still providing adequate protection for knee-to-stem strikes on my BMX bike and sliding out on gravel landings while downhill mountain biking in Colorado. Happy I’ve had them on for several crashes now, saving my knees from getting really torn up!

These are just what I was looking for. They are tight but they are meant to be. If you have a hard time getting them up, fold over the silicon band. It’s there to keep the pad from slipping but can make it hard to get on and off (it works really well). If I were to do it again, for my uses, I’d probably go a size up.One other note, the top layer is a rough fabric. Not an issue but might be important to some.
