ProCare Lace-Up Ankle Support Brace, Medium

My dr recommended this for Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction. It is helpful for pain but is hard to put on and take off. And is too big to be worn with most of my shoes.

Terrible item the web site does not describe dimension of ankle area it only says small medium large Xtra large. The brace does not close the shoe lace does not get all the way to the top it is too narrow and on top of everything it is not a returnable item just Waste of time waiting for the item and WASTE of money.

I bought two of these to use in place of socks when I have to wear shoes (I'm a barefooter) and they have been great. I took the plastic ankle support pieces out and just wear them as...I guess internal spats lol. I took my boots off the other day to go rock climbing and the canvas stood up to rough rocks very well, not even a snag. Very comfortable for long patrols as a security guard. If you are gonna use them like I do, you should cut the laces and learn to tie a sheet bend knot so its flatter against your foot inside your shoe if you're wearing anything high top. Anyway 10/10 and I will be buying more. Not because they're poor quality or anything but because I abuse my things and I can't realistically expect them to stand up to that for years on end.

It does the job, but takes a lot of time to get on and off! Especially when you're in pain! Shoes DO NOT fit over this brace! Need a size larger shoe. I would not recommend this product

Although I measured my ankle and followed the recommendations given for sizing (I fell between sizes, so I went to the next larger size), this ankle support was much too small for me. I have very small feet and minimal swelling, but I could have used a large instead of a medium size brace. That being said, the wrap is well-made, and because it laces up, I have been able to make it work. In order to make it more comfortable, I added minimal padding where the support laces at the foot, arguably the tightest spot on the brace, and in the bend of the ankle to increase immobilization. The bottom of the wrap is slippery, so be prepared to use a non-slip sock or shoe. I do not believe a person who is wearing this brace will be able to use the same size shoe as he did without it, although removing the stays might accomplish this. I am reasonably happy with my purchase and would buy it again, but in a larger size.

After I was lucky enough to end up with a sprained ankle….my ortho doctor told me to purchase a brace. I tried many different ones and this one was the most comfortable while. Ring supportive too. I wasn’t able to wear a shoe over it but I was able to use it with my pair of crocs which was a perfect combo of comfort

The product was okay. I wish it had fit better but it gapped in places and was tighter in others. So imagine my surprise when I go to return it only to find out it is not a returnable item! DO NOT BUY unless you are certain you won't be returning it.

I was reluctant to make this purchase due to the low ratings, but it wasn't terribly expensive and recommended by my surgeon. I've found it to be comfortable, with socks that come above the ankle, and stable. I can easily wear it with tennis shoes.
