ProCare Lace-Up Ankle Support Brace, Medium

I had a difficult time finding a brace that would restrain my small foot (adult 5/youth 3.5) and the XS does a great job. It would fit a few sizes down as well. I feel very secure wearing it, but as expected, it won't fit inside your usual shoe. You may need to leave the laces on your shoe looser or wear an open ankle shoe.

It is ridiculous that you cannot return this item unused because it does not fit. There are too many other products that you can return to get the right fit. I would highly recommend choosing a different product and not doing business with this company!

I bought two of these to use in place of socks when I have to wear shoes (I'm a barefooter) and they have been great. I took the plastic ankle support pieces out and just wear them as...I guess internal spats lol. I took my boots off the other day to go rock climbing and the canvas stood up to rough rocks very well, not even a snag. Very comfortable for long patrols as a security guard. If you are gonna use them like I do, you should cut the laces and learn to tie a sheet bend knot so its flatter against your foot inside your shoe if you're wearing anything high top.Anyway 10/10 and I will be buying more. Not because they're poor quality or anything but because I abuse my things and I can't realistically expect them to stand up to that for years on end.

Although I measured my ankle and followed the recommendations given for sizing (I fell between sizes, so I went to the next larger size), this ankle support was much too small for me. I have very small feet and minimal swelling, but I could have used a large instead of a medium size brace. That being said, the wrap is well-made, and because it laces up, I have been able to make it work. In order to make it more comfortable, I added minimal padding where the support laces at the foot, arguably the tightest spot on the brace, and in the bend of the ankle to increase immobilization. The bottom of the wrap is slippery, so be prepared to use a non-slip sock or shoe. I do not believe a person who is wearing this brace will be able to use the same size shoe as he did without it, although removing the stays might accomplish this. I am reasonably happy with my purchase and would buy it again, but in a larger size.

These run small. Order one or more sizes up from what you think you need. I ordered XL and was still small.

After I was lucky enough to end up with a sprained ankle….my ortho doctor told me to purchase a brace. I tried many different ones and this one was the most comfortable while. Ring supportive too. I wasn’t able to wear a shoe over it but I was able to use it with my pair of crocs which was a perfect combo of comfort

I bought this using their sizing chart and was hoping to have a good fit that would go inside of an athletic shoe. The sizing was off and was way too big. It provides no support and if anything it's very uncomfortable. I asked to exchange it for one size down and they denied to do anything to resolve the issue. I am not asking for a refund I'm asking to get the product I ordered that should have fit my foot based on their sizing chart. If you buy it know that you should probably go a size down and to be real certain I'd recommend looking for a different product that at least stands behind it.

Brace is breathable, light weight, sturdy and easy to put on. It's comfortable and stays in place. I'm a bowler and had a stress fracture I was recovering from and this was great at keeping my ankle inline. With this ankle brace I was able to keep bowling while I was recovering from my injury. Highly recommend!!
