The outside is 6 & 7/8 inches tall the inside 6 & 3/4 tall. I purchased the Kitchen Aid Immersion blender with it and the blender just fits the bottom of the container, but I would leave about 1 inch of space at the top of the container if using that blender with it, to allow for overflow and not to get your food or drink in the housing of the blender.

Q: What is the diameter of the bottom: inside and outside?

Bottom outside is approx 2.700". The bottom inside is 2.658" The bottom of the container is double walled so the two measurements are not necessarily in the same plane.

This cup is considered a 30 oz. cup. It is 32 oz to the very top, 7 oz. to the lower mark and 14 oz. to the upper mark

Hi John, Looking inside this cup, there are no soldered seams at all. If you look at the picture, it does show what looks like a "cap" has been put on the bottom, however it is not soldered on. I hope this helps.
