This is by far the best scan tool/scope package bang for buck. The data pids are very detailed and easy to view. The bluetooth scope works great and is very easy to use, even for a first time user.

Great scanner! The first one I received didn't work so I contacted them and they got me to send it back and they sent me a brand new one! The replacement I received works flawlessly.

I had bought this tool because my shop was equipped with an inadequate automotive scanner that has caused alot of frustrations and inconvenience. I wont be naming that particular brand... (cough*cough*) but they are SUPPOSED to be a top tier, well known, OVERLY priced brand that their "franchised" pocket and bank account murdering truck shows up weekly to collect payments. I had come across countless occasions to where my scanner was not able to do a vast majority of abilities it has claimed it could, but certainly cannot... so I ended up borrowing on multiple occasions, another automotive shops Autel Maxisys unit to complete my tasks. I was overly impressed with the capabilities, so here I am, posting a review on this Autel Maxisys Ultra unit I have happily acquired! Highly recommended to any other automotive shops out there looking to ease their scanner woes!

The system works good and costs half of the major tool brands. The maxisys does so much, It will take a long time to figure it all out and learn how to use it to its full potential. Recommend finding a seller that offers an extended system update time. Most sellers offer one year free updates. I have seen some with two year free updates. The yearly updates are very expensive. This system will work without the yearly subscription but all the features that you pay for with the maxisys will not work as intended. This is a great scanner if you know what to expect out of it.

This is my second scanner. I was impressed how much more that this unit would do, yet how easy it was to learn to operate.

1 year after this review, I still enjoy my scanner. This seller is not recognized as an official seller, Your tool is covered by Autel warranties and everything you’d expect. Just not for rebates or programs like that. Not certified seller for north american market. I purchased this to replace my Autel elite, it has everything in a bundle, yes there are still items and test devices you have to purchase, but the scanner is amazing.I run an independent repair facility and do alot of coding and reprogramming, I do alot of electrical due to our newer cars sensors- the scope ,wave generator lets you test and basically lie to car that a good sensor is active to help in diagnostics. Autel official helped me with the purchase here on amazon , The only draw back is it only comes with one year of updates, where as my Elite came with two, but this scanner should last for years, the 5in1 vcmi Is the size of a 7 in tablet be aware its big, lol but alot is stuffed into it,

This was a waste of money! It broke within 90 days of using it and tech support was horrible. Had to send it back at my expense which was over $300 and they don’t let you know when it will be returned. They don’t keep you updated on the progress, finally called and they’re waiting on a part with no expected date. I wish I could get my money back and send this trash back to them!!

This is my seccond Autel scanner because I liked my first one so much. The built-in service procedures are really handy as well as the scope function. The large screen is great as well as the topology view of all the control modules and instant display of all trouble codes in the various systems.
