I loved this book more than the second book. It had everything: tension, intensity, spice, plot twist and so much character development. Truly an amazing book. Tristan Caine, I didnt realize i could love him more than I already do but this man melts my heart. Morana is a smart feisty woman that will protect her man and the people she loves at all costs. I can't wait to see where the storyline goes from here.Spice rating: 🌶🌶🌶. I felt like this was less spice but way more loving and tender moments together. You got to experience the growth in their relationship. Spicy chapters: 10, 13, 15, 17.

This was a great love story, with a tragic beginning, and all the healing they needed in the end. I am so glad we get more of them in the future because in a way I feel like we didn’t get complete closure. This is a great series and I love the 4 main characters so much! I need to see how Dante and Amara’s story ends. We still have a many questions, but I am so happy with how this whole series is progressing. Tristian and Morana were put together by fate, but their devotion to each other is stronger than love, and those are the best love stories.

Loved these characters. Everything was so descriptive and brought you into this world as if you were actually there. Great Read!

My review of this book is pretty much the same as book 1. Too much repetitive info and over explaining. I do as always, grumble and start skipping paragraphs and pages. There are some farfetched and ridiculous aspects to the story, but it's an escape.

After reading The Predator, I was honestly a little worried about The Reaper—you know that feeling when you’re not sure the next book can live up to the first one? But wow, The Reaper absolutely delivered in ways I didn’t expect. From the very beginning, I was drawn right back into this gritty, dark world that Runyx has created, and I couldn’t put it down.What really grabbed me was how complex and real the characters felt. The protagonist in this one? Absolutely ruthless, but also vulnerable in a way that was hard to ignore. I found myself rooting for them, even when they were making morally questionable decisions, and that’s a huge testament to Runyx’s ability to write multi-layered, flawed characters.The chemistry between the leads was everything—that slow-burn tension had me hanging on every page, and I loved the push and pull between them. It was thrilling and frustrating (in the best way), and I loved how their relationship developed amidst all the chaos.The pacing was perfect for me—never too slow, always keeping me on edge with twists I didn’t see coming. I literally found myself staying up late just to finish the chapters because I had to know what happened next. The stakes kept getting higher, and I loved how the plot kept me guessing, even when I thought I had figured it out.As much as this book is dark, it felt like a journey—both emotionally and plot-wise. The world-building continued to impress, and the deeper you get into it, the more invested you become in these characters and their twisted journey.The Reaper was everything I wanted and more. If you’re a fan of dark, complex characters with high-stakes drama, you need to pick this one up. I can’t wait to see where Runyx takes us next, because I’m officially hooked.⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5)

Girl he can cook clean and take down your enemies but also let you do it if you wanted. I need his pov and I don’t normally want to reread a story but with this one I will. He literally had like 10 words in the story but you can tell by his actions how much he cares. Now FMC is what I want in a FMC she was amazing smart and dark when she needed to be really liked this story.

I absolutely adored this book. The twists the turns all of the things that come to light is just shocking. I love Tristan and morana. They are my absolute favorites and 99% of dark romance girlies will go. I want a Tristan Kane. This is a must-read series
