Condor Elite - Siamese Slik Clip (10 PCS/Pack) Black

These clips were just what I was looking for to modify hiking gear. It allows easy attachment of a mesh water bottle pocket to a Day Pack's shoulder strap's ladders and strap, as well as attachment of any waist pack which has loops at ends to a Day Pack's 1" waist belt. Can see many other uses for these clips in attaching other items of gear as well.

These are strong and secure. Once latched, they will stay that way. If you want them easier to apply/remove, take some fine grit sandpaper to the nubs. Go slow and evaluate accordingly.

All in all, these are good -- 3 stars because of some minor nitpicks, and I've only ever found them in 1". I used these to add shoulder strap pockets to a hiking backpack. They're no-sew to add on, and are very secure once they're closed. That said, don't expect to be opening and closing them often--they're quite tough to open up. That said, 3 years and 5,000 miles of hiking they've never accidentally opened. I also filed down the "points" on either end because they were jabbing me while wearing the pack. That made them even harder to open, but was good as a fix-and-forget, and can still be jimmied open on the occasion I want to swap something out. I desperately wish they came in 1/2" and 3/4". Because they're 1" and I have them attached to smaller webbing, they tend to "fall" cockeyed with the webbing bunched in a corner of each side.

I use these clips for attaching various items to and in my packs, I see additional loops into the packs top edge to allow me to attach additional bags in the pack for better organization. This clip is not bulky and disappears when in use compared the other clips and much stronger than mitten clips. Also a great way to add additional compression straps to any mollie equipped packs and packs with 1 inch webbing.

I broke one of the clips on my backpack but I didn't want to through it away because I really like it. So I bought a pack of these clips and it saved my backpack. The only issue is that the gap in between is a little bit too wide so I have to fold the belt twice to make it work, which is why I gave it a 4-star rating.

Condor makes quality equipment. These clips stand up to those standards. They consistently do what they were designed to do. What else can be said

Super handy tool for attaching bags, pouches, etc.

These are the genuine clips…. However it’s not made clear that when you order the option that has 3 different colors in the photo, you are ordering black only. Which sucks. But the cost in time and travel va cost of item doesnt make it worth returning. Disappointed as only bought cos i needed all 3 colors
