We are mandated by the city to separate composte from regular trash. City kitchens are small and there is no room for yet another trash can. This rectangular narrow bucket fits perfectly between our refrigerator and the wall. It’s well hidden and easy to retrieve. If you have room under the kitchen sink- you can put it there. Cleaning it is no problem. Don’t forget to buy biodegradable liners for this bucket. I like it

I got this because we now have to put all our food scraps/waste in the Organics cart each week for trash pickup. This container is absolutely perfect! It holds a couple days worth of scraps, has a sturdy handle, a flip up lid, a removeable cover for easy emptying, and is so easy to rinse or wash in the dishwasher. It looks great sitting on my counter. I love everything about it.

The size is unobtrusive and there is no odor. Much better than just using a compostable bag. I have a smallish fridge and it fits better than the bag. Good choice.

This is great to keep all food in until you’re ready to take it out to the green waste. Be careful though. I threw it the top with the the food and had to purchase another one.

I can't believe I'm writing a review for a compost bin, but this is perfect. We store compost in the refrigerator to keep it away from the cats (and keep it from rotting in summer), and it fits in one of our old small refrigerator's door-shelves: We can quickly toss something in or easily grab it by the handle to keep it out while cooking. We just use regular compost bags (not the ones designed to fit this brand), and the way the lid fits over the bin keeps the bag from shifting.

Honestly I wasn’t sure what to expect with this but it’s fantastic. Its easy to clean (or put bags in) and there’s absolutely no smell from food.
