TOPDON ArtiDiag800 BT 2, All-System Diagnostic Tool, 28+ Maintenance Functions, FCA Gateway Access & CAN-FD Protocol, Bluetooth Wireless Diagnosis, 2 Years Free Updates

Our local garage changed ownership and the quality of service is now pretty poor, so I am doing the maintenance and repair on our cars (Subaru Forester 2.0D and Fiat Panda Twinair). To do this efficiently, I needed a scanner to identify issues and fix problems on our vehicles. I tried a couple of dongle's that work with a downloaded app on your phone (e.g. Torque), but I couldn't get any information from the Subaru. Having satisfied myself that 'you get what you pay for' (the dongle's were about £40 apiece) and reading plenty of reviews, I bought the Topdun 800BT for £299. The item was shipped quickly and safely. I put the unit on charge for an hour, booted it up and linked it to the WiFi and checked for updates. Instructions are clear and easy to follow and it was simple to link the dongle to the hand held unit. With a couple of touches of the screen, the unit identifies the car's VIN, you can then command a 'health check'. It takes a few minutes to check the whole vehicle and then the information is displayed; whether the component is operating well, or if a fault has been logged. When a fault is logged it has fault code. 'Click' on the code and the WiFi linked handset opens a Google search page, describing the fault code, identifying the parts, linking in to parts suppliers and videos showing how to repair the fault - brilliant. The ArtiDiag can also provide real time readouts on all, or selected, components and take a video of the data. This data along with screenshots and diagnostic reports can be emailed to yourself (or a customer)' The unit feels well made and robust and the buttons, touch screen work really well. The dongle slides and locks into the handheld unit, keeping it well protected when not in use and the whole unit comes in a nice, padded, bespoke case. I have only had the 800BT for about 3 weeks and I definitely fall into the 'amateur mechanic' category, but I can see that this tool is going to be really useful. I have identified and repaired 3 faults on one car and one fault on the other. I suspect that this tool is capable of a lot more wizardry that I have utilised at present, but, with my basic use, I couldn't be more chuffed with it.

Got tired of garages asking me fortunes to fix my cars, so i went ahed and ordered the TopDon800BT from Amazon. Product arrived very quick, in a quality package and i got straight to business. Straight away i managed with the help of the TopDon800BT to pinpoint an issue i had on my Volvo S80. Last garage i went with the Volvo told me i need a new engine, car has 90k miles on the clock. It was a lambda sensor that was shot, ordered the part and changed myself in 5min, car runs like new. This scanner has also the option of testing and programing each individual part, from sensors to injectors etc. I am really impresed with this product and wish i knew of it before spending fortunes with shady garages. You get daily updates, it also searches the internet for the error code you have on the car, providing solutions, amazing! I helped couple of my friends with the TopDon800Bt and fixed some complex issues they had on the cars. It's an awesome product, really easy to use, I can recommend it to any one who wants to save money and time with diagnosing and fixing the cars. 10++

Great piece of high spec kit. This is the second piece I have bought from TOPDON and they are fantastic. Comes with a hardshell case to keep it safe in your van. Huge number of features for pretty much every make of vehicle. Used so far on vw, vauxhall and Ford vehicles. To make things even better when you're bored you can use it to surf the Web and watch YouTube. The amount of functions and depth of diagnosis are what you would expect to find on a much more expensive machine. Went so deep into the ecu system that it could even diagnose a faulty USB connection and issues with the climate control. Very impressed with the build quality and features. A good solid handheld screen gives clear information and easy diagnosis of electrical faults. If I was to be picky at all I would say that the only feature missing is the ability to access the hidden features of a car like with VCDS but that would be being picky. Great kit at a great price, topdon are definitely aiming high.

Have to say I have a few Topdon products now all are very good and none have broke the bank. This scan tool is my latest acquisition and for less than £300 I don’t think you’ll find a better machine. Really easy to use, in some ways numpty proof. It starts up quickly and has the dongle in a neat slot built into the machine that even beeps at you to remind you not to leave the dongle in the car. Every thing that’s good comes up in green and the nasties are in red and grey stuff it doesn’t have. The screens are easy to understand and you can go back anytime you loose the bottle to go forward. When you first get it you’ll have some updates to do as with any scan tool but these are free not just for two years but for life. It has lots of service functions and resets and looks like it covers every car you’ll see in the car park. I only have a few criticisms the first being unlike the autel there’s no battery voltage in the display top corner. There’s no hanger, and there doesn’t seem to be a print option that I can find. Otherwise for the money it’s brilliant.

Arrivato ben imballato ho apprezzato la valigetta di dimensioni contenute che permette lo stivaggio in baulieta come dotazione di bordo. Come apparecchi diagnostico è completo e fa molte più funzioni che un hobbista può richiedere. Non ha i test attivi ma ritengo sia utili solo in un officina vera e propria mentre trovo determinante il fatto di avere gli aggiornamenti a vita che su altri prodotti sono limitati a 2 anni ed il rinnovo costa quasi come l'apparecchio. Già utilizzato si auto usata appena comprata per fare check ecc ed è stato tutto semplice, chiaramente va usato con cognizione di causa per non fare "danni"

Ich hatte mehrere Diagnosegeräte zum testen bestellt. Schlussendlich überzeugte mich das ArtiDiag 800BT. Der Grund ist ganz einfach! Dieses Gerät schaffte es an allen drei Versuchsfahrzeugen alle Steuergeräte zu erfassen. Der Bericht den man sich per E-Mail senden kann ist in Ordnung. Dieser könnte etwas übersichtlicher gestaltet sein aber dafür ziehe Ich keinen Stern ab da alle Informationen am Ausdruck zu finden sind. Der Steckplatz für den BT Dngle ist super gelöst. So wird dieser normalerweise nicht vergessen und ist optimal geschützt und verstaut. Hier könnte der Hersteller noch eine Kontrollfunktion einbauen damit für ganz schlampige der dongle garantiert nicht vergessen wird. Beim Beenden der Diagnose wird aber stets mit einem Hinweis und einem lauten Ton darauf hingewiesen. Das beigelegte Ladegerät wird mit EU und US-stecker ausgeliefert. Dies ist ein herkömmliches 5 Volt 1,5 Ampere USB Ladegerät. Die beigelegte Tasche ist formschön und schützt das Diagnosegerät bestens vor Dreck und Staub. Die Menüführung ist intuitiv und leicht zu verstehen. Manche Worte sind falsch ins Deutsche übersetzt, dies ist aber kein Problem da es lediglich minimale Übersetzungsfehler sind. Das Display ist ausreichend hell genug um auch bei Sonnenlicht was zu erkennen und der Touchscreen spricht genau und ordentlich an. Die Ein- und Ausschalttaste bietet ordentlich haptik und funktioniert tadellos. Das Gerät selbst liegt sehr gut in der Hand und die rutschfeste Oberfläche fühlt sich auch hochwertig an. Man muss sich nicht jedes Fahrzeug runterladen um etwas Speicherplatz zu sparen der aber am 32 Gigabyte Gerät ausreichend dimensioniert ist. Die wichtigsten Fahrzeuge hier in Europa sind vollständig und die Software scheint gut zu sein. Dies bin ich aber weiterhin am testen und gebe gegebenenfalls später erneute Rückmeldung. Das Lifetime Update hört sich auch gut an und somit kann dieses Gerät viele viele Jahre ohne weitere Kosten verwendet werden. Dieses Gerät ist nur gedacht um das Fahrzeug auszulesen aber keine Programmierarbeiten durchzuführen. Was ich hier aber anregen möchte, ist einen Turbotest einzubauen. Es sollte das Westgate oder VTG Steuergerät angesteuert werden können, oder weitere Aktuatoren anzusteuern um diese zu prüfen. Die FIN Nummer erkennt das Diagnosegerät an allen drei Fahrzeugen problemlos. Beim Gebrauchtwagenkauf ist ein Diagnosegerät der Hit um den Preis zu drücken und um zu sehen was mit dem Fahrzeug so passiert ist. So bekommt der Käufer einen Überblick über anstehende Reparaturen oder im Fehlerspeicher abgelegte Fehlercodes in Klartext. Und sollte man auch nur einen groben Fehler vor dem Kauf finden hat sich dieses Diagnosegerät bereits bezahlt gemacht. Alles in allem finde ich dieses Gerät Top! Geräte oberhalb von 1000 € können nur minimal mehr als dieses. Ich finde der Hersteller macht ordentlich Druck auf die teuren Geräte und zeigt mit diesem Diagnosegerät dass es auch für kleines Geld ein sehr gutes Diagnosegerät gibt das mit den großen mithält und sich nicht verstecken muss! Ich würde es wieder kaufen und kann es jedem empfehlen.
