WINE YEAST EC-1118 500g BULK PACK FOR HIGH ALCOHOL FERMENTATIONS

Powerful results what else can I say? This yeast produced an end product that had much higher alcohol content than I or my family was expecting, thats not to say that it was bad (the taste was nice actually) but it was surprisingly strong. I should also warn that in the few batched I have made I keep getting a syrupy taste despite trying different recipes, it may have to do with this yeast, who knows.

I like the bulk packaging and price. As long as it's quality and price stay good, this will probably be my go to yeast. I've only order this product 1nc so far.

It's ec-1118. It's always good to have on hand.. when you need it for a brew it's good to have.

Not as convenient in bulk verses packets but less expensive

I bought 2 of these, the lot date was fresh but I couldnt get fermentation to fully kick off, I used Yeast nutrients, and go-ferm but could not get it to work. I'm used to the smaller packets but got tired of opening 11 of them for each 3bbl batch. Both bricks were dead...

I bought this last year when I started to get into home winemaking. I've been completely satisfied with the yeast, and I imagine it will last me for many years to come. I was a little hesitant to pay so much up front, but compared to individual packets this is an excellent value for the price.
