Wonderful strings!
This was my first set of Dominant Pros ever and I really love them so far. The playability is excellent: super responsive and with great dynamic range. On my violin they sound clear and bell-like but still have pleasing overtones and a good warmth on the G and D strings (especially if you get the set that has a silver-wound D). With many good string sets that were $75 a set a decade ago well over $120 per set nowadays, I think these represent a great compromise and I will definitely purchase these again.

Warm, resonant, clear, BEAUTIFUL sound. Upgrade from original Dominant strings.
I LOVE these strings!!!! They only took a couple hours to break in and stay in tune! They sound absoutely beautiful and warm, just like I needed them to sound. I usually get the standard Thomastik-Infeld Dominant strings (steel e), but decided to try these based on reviews and the need for them to break in quickly for an event. The length was perfect for a 4/4 size. I will now be using these strings until further notice. Absolutely beautiful sound both acoustically and when amplified. No preamp needed on my gigs so far! I usually have issues on PA systems with shrieky highs and nonexistent lows, but these strings enabled me to bypass the need for a preamp and they are super balanced. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Highly recommend.

I am pleased with these strings
I put these on my instrument about a week ago and within a few minutes of playing I was pleased with their sound. They settled in within a few days, which is typical for synthetic core strings. The tone is consistent across the range of all four strings - and is especially beautiful in the higher ranges of the e string. Higher positions on the g string on my instrument can be squawky (maybe it’s me?) but this g string is smooth and it seems easier to achieve a beautiful sound in fifth and sixth position. There are no apparent quality issues so far. I received the full set, as expected. The regular Dominant strings didn’t sound as well on my instrument, but these are worth the extra cost, though still a reasonable price for advanced level strings. I will be purchasing these again.

Bought new got used
The string itself is great and I would recommend these strings to other violinist. I ordered new strings but the box arrived opened and one of the strings looks used already.

Excellent value, reliable sound
I play a warm-sounding 1880 Vuillaume-school (Derazey) violin, and go back and forth between Evah Pirazzi and Dominant strings. This set feels lighter in heft and intensity than ones I've played on in the past. The sound is very steady, though. I'm about to transition from several weeks playing Gilbert & Sullivan to one intensive week with Mozart, Haydn, and late Brahms. As to color and agility from these strings, I feel all set.
