Excellent Dash Cam – Great Video Quality & Reliable Performance! I've been using this dash camera for a few weeks now and I'm very impressed with its performance. The video quality is crystal clear both during the day and at night. It captures number plates and road signs without any issues. Installation was simple and the instructions were easy to follow. The motion detection and loop recording features work perfectly. I also appreciate the wide-angle lens which gives a broad view of the road ahead. It’s compact, doesn’t obstruct the view while driving, and auto-starts with the ignition, which is super convenient. Highly recommend this dash cam for anyone looking for a reliable and value-for-money product!

Pros: 1.front camera video quality is very good and rear camera good. 2.easy to install ( not done hardwire ) 3.able to view front and rear video via app 4.when you change your lane , it announces lane departure ( only when lane lines are marked, if not no announcement 👏. AI works very well) 5.front collision warning 6.trip route 7.picture quality good ( both front and back) 8. Night vision video ( front and rear) good. 9.app provide easy to download in any phone via wifi. If your phone has memory card slot then it is much faster than wifi to download. 10.if you enable to Capture audio then you can hear in the video. When you car is on and not moving.. if all mirrors are closed .. still audio us captured.. Cons. 1. Front camera Heats quickly ( CC SAYS IT IS EXPECTED but no need to worry). Yes I tested continuously for 2 hrs and 15 minutes. No issues found .. 2. Rear camera should be manufactured with 360 degree rotation. Note: without hardwire kit parking surveillance will not work. Live rear camera video is not viewable via Mobile app, so don’t think it is a bug / issue in Mobile app. Overall I feel worth of buying this camera. Writing this review after couple of long journeys. Will add pictures after downloading..

Installed the front and rear cam, the features are good , application has got good connectivity. It's easy to use , I have installed the samsung EVo memory card ( 128 GB) in it. It supports micro SD card. The entire dashcam is pretty compact in nature and is competitive with features and pricing too. I would definitely recommend this product to people who are looking for a dashcam.

Setup was quick and easy, and the companion app makes it super convenient to view footage directly from my phone. The 70mai Pro Plus+ A500S Dual Channel Dash Cam is a good product overall. The front camera offers sharp 3K video quality, and the rear camera provides decent Full HD footage. The GPS and ADAS features are very useful, and the app makes managing recordings and settings simple. Night recording quality is satisfactory, and the optional parking mode adds extra security. However, there are several complaints that need to be addressed: Complaint Points: 1. No CPL Filter for Rear Camera A CPL filter is available only for the front camera. It’s disappointing that no CPL filter option exists for the rear camera, which is a significant limitation for users in India. 2. High Sensitivity of Emergency Recording The sensitivity of the emergency recording feature is too high. Even on the lowest sensitivity setting, the dash cam activates emergency recording every time the car crosses a speed bumper, which is frustrating and clutters the recordings. 3. Confusing Label for Audio Recording Toggle In the settings, the toggle for audio recording is labeled simply as “Recording.” This can confuse users who might think it refers to video recording. It should be labeled more clearly as “Audio Recording.” 4. Settings Wiped After Software Updates Every time a software update is installed, all user settings are wiped out. Reconfiguring the dash cam after every update is time-consuming and inconvenient. 5. Password Recovery Does Not Work The password recovery feature does not work. When I tried it, I couldn’t recover my account details, which was a frustrating experience. If these issues are resolved in future updates and improvements, this dash cam could provide a far better user experience.

Video resolution for both front and rear camera is good but retrieving the footage is quite the task. The app is basic and needs to be connected to the device hotspot which is very slow. It took me over half and hour just to download 4 one minute videos. The car has to be kept running throughout this whole process. The device needs to be rebooted quite often and only connects to one mobile phone so each time a different family member wants to retrieve footage, their phone needs to be reauthenicated. Even software updates need to be downloaded on the app and then uploaded to the device are time consuming. I've also had to reset multiple settings including the date and time several times. Overall, the UI could be improved significantly and is currently very rudimentary and frustrating to use. The product serves the purpose with satisfactory video resolution but given the maintenance and slow and annoying retrieval process, impatient people should consider other options.

Today ( 9th Aug 2025 ) installed 70mai Pro Plus+ A500S dash cam and I’m genuinely impressed. The front camera’s 2.7K resolution delivers excellent video quality, capturing details like number plates clearly — even in low light. The built-in GPS and route tracking are great for reviewing drives, and the companion app makes it simple to view and download clips without dealing with SD cards. I also appreciate the subtle yet helpful ADAS alerts, especially on long journeys. I haven’t tested the parking monitoring feature yet, but it’s reassuring to know it’s available. Overall, it offers great value for the price and adds a solid layer of security to the car.
