Are these food grade or safe to use in a 5 gallon beer keg?

The manufacturer says they are intended for lubricating oil and are not safe for food. But the main description says they are for plumbing use. Can someone please explain?

Does this work for air sealing? trying to seal an air gap between an air motor and a hopper unit in my airsoft gun.

Certainly worth trying; this is a handy kit I purchased and my husband has dipped in to it on several occasions. These are round, but if it can be compressed enough to seal off your area, and as there are no caustic fluids are involved (ie, like an AC unit with the newer freon), it should be fine. You just have to find the right fit. Hope it works for you.
