Columbia Men's Lock N' Load Vest

Well done, Columbia ! Plush material. Warm, but not too warm. Well-made and sharp looking. Who could ask for more.Perfect fit for a big man! I will keep this in mind for my husband for a next gift-giving event.

Soft, warm and looks good. The fit is as sized and the two snap collar is loose enough to be comfortable yet able to keep the wind off your neck. A colder then normal winter has been a good test when worn under my insulated jacket. The pockets are full cut and provide a great place to keep my hands warm. When it gets too warm for a jacket yet still cool this should provide a good wind resistant addition for my outdoor walks or to keep the thermostat lower while inside.

I live in the cold climates of Wyoming where below zero temperatures can be in the norm and.already have a fleece vest for years. As the winter months deepened I began wearing it constantly to keep my torso warm. I even began wearing it to bed over my pajamas since my wife likes to sleep much cooler than I do. I would even wear it over a white shirt and tie when I went to church and under my dress sport coat. People made more comments on the beauty of this printed vest and would ask where I got it.Since I was almost wearing this old vest 24/7 I thought I would try to find another one as close to it as I could find and this was it. I search high and low on the internet to find anything close to the older fleece vest with a pattern. My old one was white and grey with snow flake patterns. On this new one I wish the fleece was a little longer like my old one but I have chosen this one to wear at night in complement of my fleece pajama bottoms and over my pajama tops.I now can sleep like a log and do not need to jump up put on my thermo underwear get dressed to go outside and push snow. I can be outside or anywhere and do my immediate outside chores and am warm and comfortable anywhere I go. Also, this is the first year that I have not had a sickness of a cold. I contribute this to always keeping my torso in comfort.

Overall it is a nice vest. Fits well as a layer under a heavier coat. The fit is a tad bigger than expected for me, but I like a vest that hugs the body for more of an "athletic" fit.

The vest is a little longer, coming just past the hips, which is what I wanted. Time will tell if it holds up after washing.
