Hammered Cup Rain Chain

Absolutely love! I bought as an alternative for a small 2-foot section of gutter, so it doesn't receive a lot of rain, but from a small fabled overhang. Much prettier than a regular downspouts. I have it running down onto my porch in front of a kitchen window into a medium sized pot (flower pot, not cooking pot) filled with decorative stones (big box store purchase)...works wonderfully and so pretty.

Works well and looks terrific. We had a problem with our gutter configuration and needed a downspout right beside the front porch in a place that would have looked terrible. This is a great alternative. It actually adds to the curb appeal of the house in my opinion. Lots of people talk about the need to anchor the bottom in a pot with rocks, but ours lands by a tall shrub, and that seems to be fine since we don’t usually get much wind with our rain.

My wife and I purchased this Rain chain manly for the looks/Color it is Very functional and looks Great in it's setting! My dislike would be the mounting hardware was a little bit on the lite side. But over all a good product!

Why did I rate it 5 stars? Well, all of these chains are rather cheaply made honestly. The metal is thin and the finish is generally thin as well. What I found when these arrived is that the are not that bad in either area. They are a bit thin still but not so much that they are flimsy or delicate. The finish is better than most of what I've see, however, it is still on the thin side but it seems to be holding up after several months of use. What did I like about them? First, I'd have to say the two facts mentioned above are definitely "likes" in my book. But to go beyond that I would add that they are 8.5' long for a very reasonable price compared to other chains. I actually used them with rain barrels SO, I shortened them both ( this is a very simple task and anyone can easily do this) and ended up with two pieces that I put together for a 3rd barrel! Nice! Overall Thoughts? Rain chains are expensive for what they are really. BUT, I think for the build quality of this chain compared to others, and the price point, you can't go wrong.

It looks cute hanging up and works to help the water come out of the rain gutter when raining. For a heavy downpour it does not handle very well but still good!

Purchased these for a new roof and gutter installation and am very pleased I did. They are very well made and gave the front a little pizzazz. Not cheap or thin and worth the extra $ because they will last.
