Does this contain Formaldehyde? One user said you have to apply to tips only but Amazon directions say the whole nail?

There are no ingredients listed on the bottle but what I do know is that it does exactly what it promises. Because of CoVid, I was unable to have my jails done. Once I removed the gel, my nails were very thin and weak. In the last 6-8 weeks since using this product, my nails look great! I use the polish on my entire nail..

This chips within a day of applying. Any tips to stop this? I used exactly as the bottle says to use....

Yes it chips. And it works. It is very thin. Don’t think of it as a nail polish. Think of it almost as a serum, like you would put on your face. Keep putting it on. When it builds up, take it off and reapply. Eventually you will not have to have it on 24/7. This works where all the topical hardeners in the world did not. It’s cheap-use it every day.

Do you apply 2 coats every day for three days?

Yes I apply a couple coats every day …sometimes even over polish … Then remove it and start over …I often start with two or three coats the first day….. The product has really helped my nails grow.

The ingredients list acetate in various forms and alcohol. Aren’t these ingredients bad for nails?

While acetate and acetone sound similar they’re not actually the same thing and thus don’t have the same effect on nails, and adding alcohol to a word means that something is bonded with a Hydrogen-Oxygen group of atoms, not all alcohols have the same properties and so not all of them damage nail polish
