I hate using Drano. Will it actually work? How does it affect my pipes? Did it touch my skin, did I just rub my eye? I'm happy that I found an effective drain clog remover that exposes me to less chemicals.I searched for this product when my shower drain was filled with my hair. Once I received these snake drains, I put the tool in my drain, twisted it a few times, and pulled out a long tail of wet, dirty hair. It was satisfying and disgusting! I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to use this tool. Now my shower drain is free and clear of gunk. My drain works great! I'm so relieved.These tiny snake drains are so easy to store and are such a great value. They're definitely worth a try.

I'd been having with a kitchen sink drain clog and the liquid options weren't working in terms of trying to clear the clog. I decided to give these a try.This is a 6-pack of 25" plastic drain clog removers. These are made from a durable modified polypropylene and they definitely do not break easily. The teeth are effective at grabbing onto clogs whether they be caused by grease or hair or whatever. I've had no issues with snapping or breakage, though I have found the teeth can be caught and it does require some caution to remove them.I like that there's a small loop I can hold onto when pulling the clog remover back out. These are also easy to clean and re-use.The main reason I'm giving this a 4-star instead of a 5-star is simply because it didn't fully work. It loosened up my clog and identified the problem, however, I ultimately had to take an additional step in order to resolve the clog. However, it was a bit unique in that my trap was majorly clogged.Thus, I'd call this a great first option for drain clogs and a very affordable way of trying something simple before having to try more significant methods or even calling a plumber. It works well, it's affordable, and it's effective for simpler clogs.

So easy to use & gets the job done! Would recommend for anyone whose hair constantly sheds in the shower! Perfect to have just in case you might need it. Placed my order yesterday and received it this morning. Worth buying!

Fixes blocked shower, bath drains. Stunned to see how much clogged debris came up with these. The prior owner had lost chunks of plastic (ugh) sponge, loofahs, down there. Also I discovered certain thick, oily body exfoliating creams clog up drains.We tried other methods but none worked. I wore work gloves to protect my hands and after cleaning out the drains with this, they have not clogged since.

Depending on your drainpipe style, these may or may not work. For me, they were problematic. I will explain why with as much detail so you can figure out if this might not work for you either.1. The barbs are sharp enough to rip the latex gloves I use while cleaning. You must wear thicker gloves if you are going to use this and like to wear gloves.2. The barbs snagged on parts of the plumbing making it extremely difficult to pull it back out. My tub's metal bits in the drain have a lip on the edges, which means the barbs catch while being pulled out. It snagged so badly that I had to pull very hard so as to RIP off each barb tip. There was no other way to get it out. I'm just glad I was able to get it out at all.3. It didn't remove more clogged material than the worn out one I was trying to replace. It removed less. It worked a bit better in the bathroom sink, but still not any better than the other style. I'm glad I kept the old one (the kind with a velcro like tip).I'm 100% sure these are great for some people and that is why I gave it 3 stars instead of 1 or 2. It's just that they won't work for everyone. I'm putting the ones I didn't use into the Free Box and hopefully someone will get some use out of them.
