The size and thickness of this gauze is excellent and worked great for my dual purpose. 1st I needed it as a 1st aid wrap for high ankle cuts from a work related injury & it was doing double duty to also absorb lymphedemic drainage & worked extremely well. This size & grade of gauze is a multitasker. It can be stretched & twisted, easily goes into the crease of an armpit or groin, use it to wrap hands, wrists, elbows, shoulders, feet/ heels, ankles, knees, from the groin up to the hips, around the head, neck, chest & midsection/ stomach area. This same grade of gauze is available in at least 1 larger size- 6 inch wide rolls. The combination of its size and grade makes it very versatile for both light and heavy bandaging needs. Works quite well as an “emergency” bandage put on wherever it is that you might be after some injury ointment & gauze pads, just so that the injured person could be more easily transported to an urgent care center or hospital (If heavy or unstoppable bleeding is or could be present, a tourniquet or quick clotting aid is definitely & highly recommended). Because this gauze is so versatile it can be used for “maintenance” 1st aid to pre-existing conditions, lymphedemic drainage bandaging, etc. The fact of having a roll or 2 of this gauze is exactly what would be needed for “being prepared” for the unknown. Some preparedness does & will go a long way because “you just never know when you might need it for 1 of those “WHAT IF” emergencies. Just thinking about having what’s needed isn’t enough, if you “HAVE” at least the basics then you’re prepared.

The kind of gauze used in our medical facilities, and I was using for wound care for a couple of months. It doesn't stick to your fingers like other gauze I have tried. Imagine trying to wrap a leg wound with gauze that is sticking to your fingers because too dense, and/or soft.

With a large wound along my left leg, these gauze wraps are outstanding. Easy to use, comfortable and allow the wound to breath. Highly recommended.

Effective for wrapping over soft cotton wound cover. Not as thick as I’m used to having but it works.

Scrapped my arm by falling on grass I was running and ended up with road rash I used this to wrap a sterile non stick bandage as directed by my doctor. These were way cheaper and better quality than what was available in retail stores near me.

Very happy with the quality and price of these gauze wraps. Bought them to restock a different brand that was much more expensive but can’t really tell the difference. I use it over an alginate and and pad over a leg wound and then wrap with an ace bandage. It’s worked well and am happy to have this product easy to buy and ship when it runs out.
