I am finding it hard to get used to them, but I think it's just me.

First off, I'm a metal drummer. I play lots of hard and fast paced songs. I've been focusing on my sound more recently, and these gloves have definitely helped aid that. I am able to hit harder and for longer periods of time as these soften the blow on the gripping points on your hands and also the shock delivered to my wrist, compared to no gloves at all. At first they seem to not allow you to grip the stick properly but that is only due to the reduced responsiveness, I am actually gripping the stick as well as I would without the gloves, if not more so because I seem to be dropping sticks less. They take a good few minutes to get used to but now, after three weeks of playing with them, I find it more difficult to play without, and the impact from the drum heads are almost amplified on the areas the most pressure is placed by my grip. At first I was worried about them becoming sweaty and unpleasant to wear, but there are 'vent' holes on the inside of your grip which seem to work as the gloves still smell new. I haven't tried other products similar to this so I can't comment on how they compare. However my comments are based on the comparison between no gloves, and this product. I would recommend these gloves to anyone who wants to hit harder to improve their live and studio sound, so drummers in the hard rock to metal genres.

Soffro di artrite ad un pollice e devo ammettere che l'aiuto offerto dai guanti rende meno difficoltoso maneggiare le bacchette applicando la giusta forza. Per le mie esigenze sono ottimi.

Ich habe die Handschuhe nun 1 mal benutzt und war sehr unzufrieden, möchte sie allerdings nicht gleich zurück senden, da sie evtl doch nützlich sein könnten wenn man mal blasen an den händen hat. Gibt es vielleicht einen trick sie nicht mehr so rutschig zu machen oder muss man sie evtl nur etwas einspielen? ich muss immer ganz schön zupacken damit sie mir nicht nach ein paar minuten runter fallen und immer nachgreifen, somit bekomme ich fast kräpfe in der hand. Vielleicht halte ich meine sticks schon sehr locker, aber das ist ja auch ok so. Schlagzeug spielen ist ja kein muskeltraining, aber so kann ich grade mal zwei songs spielen bis meine hände nicht mehr können. Das ist echt mies, ich hatte mir mehr erhofft.
