Looks and feels sturdy

I dreamed of having a yard with a hammock. For Christmas I got a hammock and stand and…whomp whomp…the hammock was a bit short for the stand. These chains and locking hooks came to the rescue! It was very important to me when buying the hammock and stand that it could safely support two adults (or an adult and a dog in case he decides to join for a hang). These chains and hooks stated they would safely support that weight easily (and we are two sturdy adult). After receiving them I have no doubt they will hold up to their intended use. They are quality built and sturdy. They have a nice black finish so they look not so industrial as plain silver. The hooks themselves open easily by unscrewing them and the opening when opened easily fit over the chain link. Then you just screw it back shut. I was setup with the chain on the hammock in a couple minutes. I didn’t measure the length of chain I would need so I did have to make one adjustment which gave me a chance to test the ease of opening and closing the hooks again and making my loop shorter. No issues it worked as it should and was easy to make work as I hoped it would be (cause I was ready for my first hammock nap!). Overall really well priced too, I don’t think I could have matched the value for what I paid at a Home Depot or Lowes.

I bought these heavy duty chains to hang a few very large 19” heavy copper hanging planters. I bought larger brackets too, and reinforced them with wood pieces behind the siding of our new utility shed that the brackets are attached to. I actually painted the new chains with Rustoleum black paint before hanging so as to prevent any rust from forming. Some reviewers said they began to rust after about a year, so I’m hoping that by painting them first I can avoid that from happening. These chains are extremely sturdy and look so nice! I highly recommend them if you have some really heavy hanging planters.

This one is nice, but the way it is made I needed chains to attach it to the lowest hook on the frame. I didn't have any chains...none came with the hammock, so these were bought so I could put my new hammock up at a height I wouldn't be touching the ground when I laid down in it! These work great and now the hammock is taut enough I can lay in it and while it gives some, it doesn't sink to the ground. That's from hooking the hammock to the lowest hook setting on the sides of the frame with these chains.

My hammock to my surprise was slightly to small for my stand. I was at a loss as to what to do till I saw these chains. I ordered, they came in 2 days. I locked them on to my stand and they worked! The chain with the loops makes it easy to adjust the size. They are so strong and sturdy I can relax each time I lay in my hammock knowing with confidence I am not going to hit the support base bar. Bought these to hang a macrame chair in a room, worked well and feels safe and sturdy.

They are easy to install and as the lengths can be adjusted they enable extensions to other chains where circumstances require. We have used two sets in order to hang two garden swings from tree branches that are high and clear of obstructions.
