Watertight seal!
The Hydro Gizmos Waterproof Pouch is an awesome little waterproof bag. I have used it several times now and recommended it to all our friends at the lake! We used it while on the boat to hold 3-4 cell phones at a time (2 iphone 4, an iphone 6 and a note 5--that's a LOT of phone!) and we also used it to leave our phones in on the shore while we were in the lake and a good thing too because the sky opened up a complete downpour! I jumped out of the water and took it to the car and the phones were totally dry. It is well sealed around the edges, has two zip-lock style closures at the top of the pouch, then you fold the top down adding extra water protection in case the zippers fail and then the top velcro flap folds down as a final defense. The strap is long enough it could be worn easily like a fanny pack at an amusement park or anywhere you suspect your electronics or valuables might get wet. Thanks for a great product!I received this product at a discounted rate in return for my honest review.

I haven't had the opportunity to use this yet as I am taking it with me to Hawaii for snorkeling. But it is well made and will hold my valuables well. I am somewhat nervous about putting my phone in this pouch, so I may put my phone in a ziploc baggie first.

Worked for cool for one day. Next day water was all in the bag.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND PUTTING A CELL PHONE IN THESE POUCHES. We won't be adding anything with a battery.
Recently bought this to attach to the front of paddle board. We filled it with Bandaids, neosporin, our favorite drink flavor pouches & my (6mth old) Android smartphone. While on the paddle board It was facing down in the pouch for 1 hour, we snacked, the next hour- it was facing up in the pouch. 2 hours later, returning back from our site seeing adventure, I went to text our kids that we were heading back home - instead I got a warning alert "PHONE IS OVERHEATING". We immediately took cell out of pouch, securely placed it out the window of our moving vehicle (for cool air).

Everything kept dry!
( I'm the wife posting because I was the one who wore it.) The pouch was easy to use and everything stayed dry. It was large enough to fit my phone( 3 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches) and money with room for more flat stuff. The material seems strong but pliable and the strap was too. When in the water I would feel for it to be sure it was still there it was so comfortable. The strap that goes around your waist may be too big for a child under 12 years because might not adjust tight enough for them. It adjusted fine for me with a sun shirt and bathing suit on but I had it adjusted all the way to the smallest point with an inch of extra room ( I am 5'4" 120 lbs, size 4 if that helps). I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

The best value by far of the many options on Amazon
The best value by far of the many options on Amazon. I chose this product above the others because it seemed to be the only one that had never ruined anyone's stuff (no one-star reviews). I took it snorkeling with my iPhone, passport, etc. and it was great. In fact, when I got knocked down by a big wave that sent my snorkeling mask flying off my head, and tumbled me butt over tea kettle, my pouch stayed on, and everything in it stayed dry. I did put my iPhone in an extra ziplock sandwich bag, just to be on the safe side. After the wave experience, there was a bit of moisture, like sweating on the inside of the pouch, but nothing that caused any harm at all to my items. Plus, you can't beat the price.

This works really well. Just back from a trip to Barbados where I used this everyday in the ocean. There was enough room for my 6" phone, wallet, rental car keys and two pairs of glasses. It has three sets of zip lock closures and a fold over Velcro closure to protect them. My advice: make sure the bag is not puffed up as squeezing it when filled with air will pop open the seals. I did a test. If you are prone to worry or accident, I'd say test it everytime you use it. And of course, nothing sharp or pointy.
