Great GPS Watch
Enjoying the watch which replaced an older Garmin golf watch. similar capabilities but the S42 has a touch screen which makes everything easier to access functions and displays. Really like the looks and now using it as my everyday, everything watch. Even though I have an $1100 Citizen watch, I now only use it for more formal dress and events. Great watch to track your golf game
This watch is easy to set up, has great features to track ball distance amongst a few other things. Connects to your phone for the continued smart watch experience of alerts. Would be better for the addition of a fitness watch if the heart monitor application was included. Even without that it is a great price for a great watch package!

Fun Christmas Gift for two sons
The guys are really happy with it. Used on a couple golf courses we've played in CA and Vegas. They were very thankful.

Works better than a range finder.
Used mine once so far and love it. It tells the how far everything is from water crossing to how far and long the bunkers are to clear them. It's nice not having to reach for a rangefinder on everything hole/shot. Everything is at your fingertips. Super easy to use. Just make sure you put it on your lead hand (the one with the glove) otherwise it won't read when you hit your shot. If you want to take your golf game to the next level I'd recommend this watch.

No user guide included
I like the ease of golfing, tracking, scoring and saving the scorecard. I had to download a users guide and print it out. I haven’t figured out all if the functions yet.

pretty much worthless
The range finder is consistently off by 10-15 yards. clicking through the functions is very awkward. the hazard function is cryptic. and now it consistently jumps around on the time of day--going from 2-3 hours ahead to 2-3 hours behind the correct time of day. overall it's a complete waste of money. Unfortunately it was a Christmas gift which I couldn't use over the winter and now it's now too late to return it. I guess that makes as rip-off too.Update...don't buy this watch or any Garmin product from Amazon. I sent the watch back to Garmin and they won't give me a refund because I bought it from Amazon. I paid $260 plus tax for the watch. Garmin is offering a $200 credit because I didn't purchase it from Garmin, which only covers a couple of their products, which I have no need for. Buyer beware!!

Garmin S52
I love the band color and rose gold accent around the face dial. However, when I started the watch, data for another person was already loaded. Further, the battery died on my first round of golf. Since this watch replaces an existing S42, whose battery is now running out after close to 2 years use; I am concerned. Otherwise, Garmin is my brand of choice!
