Snapped together almost all my socks including ankle socks. Worked great for that. Also used to put on a dress for an extra snap where the dress would pull open. The plastic snaps work great! The metal snaps weren’t as good in my opinion they actually seemed to not hold as tight as the plastic ones. Could have used a bunch more white and black snaps but this was a wonderful starter kit for someone who doesn’t have any tools like this and since it does multiple sizes I won’t have to buy another kit or tool.

I bought it because it’s pink and I assumed it would be cheap and made out of flimsy plastic. To my surprise it’s sturdy and metal. It does the job. No complaints here. I saw a comment of a woman saying they’re not strong enough to penetrate the fabric…. It’s not supposed to penetrate the fabric to make a hole. That’s what the pointy tool included is for. Since the comment was in Spanish, I’ll go ahead and say it in Spanish. La máquina no es para penetrar la tela! Un comentario dice que no es suficientemente fuerte para penetrar, la instrucciones dicen que para eso es el otro instrumento picudo. La maquinita está nomas es para poner los botones, tiene que hacer el agujeró antes de poner los botones.

I love how simple it is to install the snaps. The only problem I have, is some of them you have to squeeze and hold to push down the center prong in order to be able to connect. I’ve wasted 3 snap caps because they didn’t smash well and when I opened my creation it just pulled apart. I do like the variety of color, just wish some colors have the hearts and stars too.

The lack of directions with the set was annoying. I had to search online for a U-Tube video to learn how to use it.

I was skeptical of the plastic snaps and there durability. I put the wrong snaps on and had to remove it. It was on there really good, it took more effort than I anticipated to remove it. It ended up tearing the fabric the snap was attached to. They will not attach securely through multiple thick layers of fabric but do well with 2-3 layers. I’m happy with my purchase.

I love these snaps, you need the clamp tool to attach the snaps which i didn't know when I got my first snaps at the fabric store. So I looked at Amazon and not only found the tool but also all the cute colors.I have a baby granddaughter and love to sew for her. These are so good, I love them.

I used these snaps on 2 pieces of cotton fabric with lightweight interfacing that I had sewn together. The pink pliers worked fine. I actually ordered two different sets. The other KAM set had gray pliers. I liked the directions better in the KAM set, so I am glad I ordered them both. Once I figured out which piece was the stud and which was the socket, I got the order that the snaps are applied, and all was well. (cap to stud; socket to cap) They arrived in good shape and a day earlier than I expected. I have no complaints.

The quality on this button set is pretty low. The Chinese instructions are pretty simple, but overall you can tell this product is a rush POS just thrown together to sell to the American market. The button quality is poor, the tool quality is poor. I put 10 buttons (which amounts to 5 sets of front and 5 sets of back snaps) onto a test garmet and only 2 buttons were good enough to snap together and hold on their own. The rest either needed to be redone completely, or they needed some fine adjustment to get the snap hole clean enough so that the snap tab would completely and securely snap into the hole. (1 completed button is made up of a snap tab and a snap hole that the tab snaps into). Overall, this was about $20 at the time I purchased it. I wish I would have spent another $20 for something that wasn't trash, because now I'm going to have to return this and find something worth buying. BTW, an easy way to re-do a button if you mess up on one of the snap sides is to cut it out using flush-cuts (Google it, Klein sells a pair for like $12 at Home Depot, they're called "D275-5 diagonal cutting pliers, precision cut"). These will cut through the metal and the plastic buttons, such cheap metal the included buttons are made of.
