Commercial Ice Maker Machine 110LBS/24H with 2 Water Inlets, Freestanding Ice Machine with 24lbs Storage Bin, Ice Scoop & Water Filter for Home Office Restaurant Bar Cafe

Got the machine on 6-15-20 and unboxed it. It was in good condition well packed, (I deliver for FedEx and have seen some bad packages) The installation was straight forward and easy. I decided to go with the direct plumb option because i have a good water filter, (it does come with an in-line filter). They include all the necessary hardware for water and drain lines. If you need longer lines a hardware store will carry what you need. They recommend to clean the interior of the unit which i did using a highly diluted bleach and water mix which you can obtain from the Clorox website for general cleaning. I plugged it in and pressed on/off switch which started the machine and began making ice. There isn’t a thick or thin setting button however there is an adjustable time button labeled +- in which you can increase or decrease the cycle by 8 minutes to adjust to your desired thickness. There is a cleaning function and the manual says to use lemon juice or vinegar diluted to a 1:1 ratio (example 1 qt vinegar to 1 qt water). I used to do commercial ice machine maintenance and i would recommend to buy NuCalgon ice machine cleaner which Amazon sells. It tells you how to dilute and use. Being that the plates are nickel plated NuCalgon is nickel safe. The bin holds ice but is not refrigerated and will melt slowly however it is insulated. This unit requires some sort of floor drain for the ice bin and when you use the cleaning function. Overall i am happy with the unit and would recommend it. Update!!! On 10-10-21 the pump quit already 😢 it had been getting somewhat louder but finally quit. So now what? Well I ordered a small aquarium pump on Amazon that looks similar so i am hoping it will fit if it does i will update this again with the item so others can repair if needed. 04/09/2023 it draws around 215 Watts running or about 1.8 Amps

Terrible product. It stopped working three days after I bought it. Customer service is nonexistent, and I have to pay for the return shipping. It's absurd.

If you want ice this is cost effective and literally pumps out ice. It makes a load in 15 minutes. The only drawback is that. It that you need to hook it to a drain. With a loop like a dishwasher. It’s amazing.

The machine overall isn't loud. We used a 5 gallon water jug and this is one hour worth of ice with it dropping a batch every 15ish minutes. The only problem we had was no fault to the machine. We had to find the sweet spot for the water jug to vent properly. After we figured that out it did great! It will be accompanying us on our next sxs ride in the toy hauler!

Ok so before you review a product you should figure out the settings completely. This is a great product I apologize for the bad review. Definitely worth the money. If your tired of buying ice this is the product for you works great. Update: The pump went out I contacted the seller and they are sending a replacement pump no questions good company I would do business with them again.

I love this machine BUT would recommend purchasing the extra warranty. I have had mine 1 year Purchased 6/26/24. I have up in my garage. I do not notice any crazy loud noises (except of course when the ice drops). We purchased this because my husband and sons work outside in the heat having ice on hand has been a life saver for me running to the store to get it. I even purchased bags so I bag and freeze it for them. The bin does not hold 24 lbs of ice more like 15 or so (I have never actually weighed it). When completely full to the point it stops making Ice I get less than 2 bags of ice from the storage bin which is still fine with me. I have my drain tube in a 5 gallon bucket and have my machine elevated so gravity does the work. I do notice a decent amount of water wasted which only bothers me when I am replacing the 5 gallon jug of water on top. The reason for the 3 star rating is it suddenly stopped working on 7/3/25. I feel for the price it should have lasted much longer. The manual does not give much help for trouble shooting. Thankful for the extra warranty as they are getting it replaced for me.

The first one failed within 5 months of service. After jumping through the hoops of the manufacturer's questions, need for photo proof, etc. they decided it was a compressor failure. After that they quickly replaced it AFTER again we showed proof we'd cut the electrical cord close to the machine so it couldn't be used. They just had us junk it instead of going to the expense of returning it. We've had the new one going for about 2 months now. So far so good.

I bought this product and from the first day of receipt it has been leaking water all over everywhere. It has ruined my the baseboards in my warehouse and I have tried to help the manufacturer by following instructions that were emailed to me to try to repair the unit myself, but that only confirmed that it was an internal issue in the unit. They now want to refund me $30 and send me parts. I am not someone who can repair things so I'm supposed to call someone to come out to repair it when it was broken from day 1? Really? How about just take the defective unit back and offer to replace it or refund it? I have been arguing with them now for over 30 days. The customer service is just as defective as their unit. I would suggest buying something that is made in America!
