I desperately needed something to hold my webcam at the required height on my workbench so I could video certain pieces of equipment. Hand-holding such a camera was a non-starter, far too wobbly and awkward.This tripod gives perfect results and fitted my Logitech C920 camera (which has a mounting bolt hole - see photos for how it looks in Real Life) and allows good height adjustment as well as the panning facility. I like that the handle for the pan and up/down has some additional wings on it that makes loosening it much easier.In use it's rock solid, no wobble and can be adjusted for height, pan and tilt in a jiffy. It folds together rather nicely and I leave the camera attached. I realise that I'm probably under-utilising this tripod's facilities but for the money this works for me!

Works well with my new monocular and is just the ticket

Very sturdy

This is heavier than I had expected which makes it less easy to carry around but it also makes sense so that my monocular and mobile phone don’t fall and break. As described, it sits on a table well as the tripod, as expected, has 3 folding legs. It would also fit on a wide shelf/ledge or flat wall but would need to be steady. The monocular attaches very easily and it does make using the phone simpler as you have 2 hands to work with rather than just one when holding the monocular without the tripod. The tripod, although not suitable for every occasion, is useful as holding the monocular for any length of time makes my arm ache. Obviously taking pictures becomes easier with the tripod as the monocular is held steady. As this is a table top device though it has limitations as to where it can be placed to allow the monocular to zoom into the area to be viewed/photographed.

The legs and the mount/swivel seem to be made of metal. The canopy that the legs are attached to is metal and covered with a plastic shroud however it does seem well made. The tripod also looks to be good for my MAK 90mm and it doesn't sag when the clamp is tightened. I don't know that I can complain because this was a great price.

This tripod is sturdy and robust. Works well with both my spotting scope and binoculars, with an adapter.
