Good for the price. This is a good, light-duty mic stand. I needed something for a talkback mic during band practice and this was perfect for the job. It's light weight and easy to setup. I wouldn't take this one on the road or to gigs. But for light occasional use, it's perfect.

Your not gonna get the best stand for this price. But seriously, if your careful with your things you will never have a issue with this. It isn’t perfect. It tilts a little. But it’s strong. It hold up my AT2020 a pop filter and a Kaotica Eyeball. Oh and a 25 foot wound up xlr cable. And the mechanics are well built. It just isn’t the sturdiest. If you have wreck-less friends, and a sensitive condenser microphone I’d get a boom arm and avoid things like a alctron pf8 or kaotica eyeball cause it probably wouldnt hold it. But if you have a a place away from cats and dogs, or a dynamic microphone or a strong condenser, this will be perfect. I bought mine cause I don’t have a good place for a boom arm. The plus is being able to hold up a kaotica eyeball. Sorry for the droning long review. I just wanted to emphasize why you should and shouldn’t purchase this in detail. I hope this helps.

This I bought as I was looking for a way to do over head shots for photo and videos. Of course I could have bought an expensive heavy over head boom, but that was out of my budget so I bought this to see if it would work. You may ask, did it work? Well depends on what your expectations are. My expectations were to hang a Canon SL2 with a 10-18MM lens for a total weight of about 25oz over a table. It does work up to about 4-5 feet high (as long as one of the 3 legs is pointing in the same direction as the boom, other wise it will definatly fall over without counter weights) and as far out as you can see in the photos in this review. For anything above 4-5ft, you would need to weight the back legs down to offset the hanging weight. Note: In the photos, you will see that I used this adapter that I bought on Amazon to connect the camera: CM01 Video Camera/Digital Recorder Adapter Pros: Build quality good for the price. It met my expectations as decribed above. Easy to transport and store. Cons: Not a heavy stable boom, but you get what you pay for. Works in my situation, but would not for anything much heavier.

It's hard to get excited about a microphone stand, but this one is really great. And for the price, it's a tremendous bargain. With some of my other (more expensive) stands, the boom keeps slipping at the pivot point. This one doesn't slip at all, I think because it has slight indentations inside the pivoting device (I don't know what you call it.) The stand is very lightweight, but it's also very sturdy. It just seems to be extremely well designed. It doesn't include a microphone clip or holder. Overall, just a great stand and a great bargain.

The stand is just alright. What I don’t like is that it is top heavy. It does not have any kind of a weighted bottom. So it tips over easily. I would not buy another one. I’d get a monoprice stand. Better made, weighted bottom for about the same price.

Quality ok, no problems.

El material no es el más resistente PERO es aguantador. Como siempre, dependerá del cuidado que le demos. La estética es buena y la calidad también, los acabados de los sujetadores me gustaron mucho al igual que los detalles de los tornillos. El mango lago NO se cae al colocarle micrófonos y extenderlo completamente.

Ein sehr guter Mikrofonständer, der seinen Zweck einwandfrei erfüllt. Er ist stabil, steht sicher und hält das Mikrofon zuverlässig in Position, ohne zu wackeln oder nachzugeben. Die Verarbeitung wirkt solide und die Einstellung der Höhe und Position funktioniert problemlos. Besonders für den Preis ist die Qualität wirklich überzeugend – hier bekommt man sehr viel für sein Geld. Meiner Meinung nach gibt es in dieser Preisklasse nichts Besseres. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

For the money this is a good stand. It is quite flimsy but does the job better than some expensive stands I've bought.
