Best money I've spent in a long time
UPDATE 2/1/2025As of 1/31 I have now been able to track 1,003,148 words on this keyboard. I'm sure that I've reached a MUCH higher number with all the non-traceable typing that has been done since last February! I am still thrilled with this keyboard! The lights still work and switch between styles if/when I want it to. The keys that I apparently use the most have a slight shine on them from where my fingers have worn them down a bit, but there's basically zero wear damage as of yet. The only thing that I can actively notice is a slight wear on the silver ring around the E key (maybe an 1/8th inch long if that). The keystrokes are still flawless.A fantastic author companion!UPDATE 2/21/2024:As of 2/20 this year I have now written 502,870 tracked words with this keyboard. I say tracked because I have typed many emails/facebook messages/discord messages ect. that I haven't tracked over the last 297 days that I have owned this keyboard. In those 297 days, I've cranked out 11 manuscripts finished manuscripts on this keyboard. (with many still in progress). It still works as well as the day that I first used it. There have been some days that I have written out almost 13,000 words in 24 hours, and have had NO issues with the performance or how my hands feel after it (my brain on the other hand...pure mush). The lights still work like it did when it was brand new. I'm honestly shocked that the letters have not worn out yet. I HAVE started to create a shine on the keys that I use the most. 10/10 would reccomend this keyboard still. BEST money I've spent in my writing career so far. Get this keyboard, you won't regret it.I've had this keyboard for 42 days now. I'm a novelist that regularly writes over 50,000 words a month (sometimes more than 10,000 in a day). As of yesterday (day 41) I have written over 1004,000 words on it. Just on manuscripts alone. There's no telling how high the actual word count is total because I don't track emails or facebook posts or reviews (like this one!!) just the manuscript words.I bought this because I had started to get "laptop hands" because I was writing so much and the squished together keys were straining my tendons. This keyboard has been my saving grace. I love the lights, the key action is smooth and makes my little writer's heart happy. The clacking noises sound just like an old typewriter, and I've found that it actually keeps the juices flowing for my imagination, since I write mostly in the Prohibition Era. The lights are entertaining and are just as bright on day 42 as they were on day 1.I also have long (natural) nails, so laptop keyboards always made my fingers hit weird as I was typing. This keyboard doesn't have that problem. The key stroke is so light it takes barely any pressure to make a key move. I'm pretty sure that my typing speed has increased because of this keyboard.Worth. Every. Cent.

good but loud mechanical keyboard
My wife got this keyboard for her at work. She's a dispatcher and types a lot so she didn't plan to game with it. She loves the different color lights but the keyboard feels a little cheap. The colors can be changed to be solid or the rainbow effect. (She wasn't sure the difference between the RGB and the LED white keyboards but the RGB allows you to change the colors and the LED has the colors where they are and you can only change the effects.) You can adjust the brightness and there's a bunch or lighting options. She expected the keys to be loud with it being a mechanical keyboard but it's definitely louder than her other mechanical keyboards than she's had. It comes with 2 extra switches if you have any that you need to replace. Overall, it's a good keyboard but it was a little cheaper feeling than she was expecting and the keys were louder than other similar keyboards that she has had however it could be because this was the first one that was a plastic casing versus a metal one.

Love this thing
I loooove this key board it’s so fun. There are a ton of different lighting settings, you can change the color, brightness, and speed. The sound is like a typewriter it’s pretty loud but satisfying. It plugs in with a regular USB and works great. I work from home and this keyboard makes it more enjoyable!

Retro Aesthetic with a Clicky Twist
This YSCP Typewriter-Style Mechanical Keyboard is an absolute showstopper! The pink retro round keycaps give off serious vintage typewriter vibes, but with all the modern functionality you need for gaming and everyday use. The blue switches provide a satisfying click with every press—perfect for those who love that classic mechanical feel. The LED backlighting is a fun touch, making it great for late-night typing or gaming sessions. However, I do wish the build quality felt a bit more solid—some parts feel a little lightweight compared to premium mechanical keyboards.Overall, if you’re looking for aesthetic meets function, this is a fantastic choice. Just be prepared for the loud key clicks, which might not be ideal if you share a workspace.

Beautiful keyboard - Wish it had more colour settings (wild I know)
The media could not be loaded. It sounds so good to write on omg. This is such a good mechanical keyboard (using it at the moment). There are so many light settings, they move, they blink, there are eve light up gaming modes and lighting up individual keys and parts of a keyboard all the time or solely when you press the keys. You can even do solid colours (which I would prefer day to day as it matches the rest of my desk decor and RGB light strip) I also love the fact that it is a full keyboard, perfect for productivity (a numpad is non-negotiable for me). It feels like a better writing experience to my Yunzii retro keyboard honestly. I love the rounded keys, so aesthetically pleasing giving quite the typewriter feel.I wish in the solid colour modes it has a wider variety of colours. It only has red, limeish green/yellow, blue, light blue (not cyan or turquoise), purple, white, multi-colour. I would have loved orange/yellow and magenta, could have done without the blue and the multicolour tbh.But alas it is not a deal breaker I am just a bit disappointed is all. It is an amazing writing experience though so if this matches your aesthetic and you're fine with those colour options I say go ahead. I only gave it 4 stars because the lack of solid colour options, but maybe I'm being petty and will change this review later lol. Also the cord isn't braided.
