The diverter works well and the plumber was able to install it easily. The one issue is that if only 2 elements are used - say an overhead shower and hand shower - port 1 of the diverter valve goes vertically to the overhead shower, and port 2 - on the left of the diverter valve - is meant for the hand shower, with port 3, on the right, to be capped. With our shower we wanted/needed the hand shower to be on the *right* of the centerline so the output nipple was on the left of centerline connecting to the hose, and we installed the hand shower slider bar etc on the right. Make sure your hose is long enough if you need to cross over like we did.

This is the rough-in valve only. You will need a diverter trim kit which will include the actual valve cartrige. 3 position: If you plug one port with the included plug, this diverter directs h2o to two (2) outlets. Valve diverts to 100% one outlet, 100% to the other outlet, or 50:50 split between both outlets. 6 position: If you do not plug one port, this diverter directs h20 to three (3) outlets. Valve diverts 100% to any one of each of the three outlets. Or splits 50:50 between any combination of two (2) outlets. As usual great Delta quality. Inspect item closely when it arrives it should be 100% new quality at this price.

Needed this to replace old valve wanted to keep same look, old valve was 20+ years old and worked great but new trim would not fit.

Nothing really special about it, it does the job. Needed a diverter for a shower/handheld split and it works.

The diverter valve arrived late. It was clearly used, which is what I expected, in good shape. I installed it and it is working fine. Only the shipping delays and confusing shipping messages cause me to rate under 5 stars.

Good price (less than the big home improvement stores) for a solid product. Delta is one of my go-to manufacturers for plumbing supplies and fixtures, and the quality of this valve did not disappoint. Installed easily, and should do its job for years to come with no worries.

Was worried installed too far into wall and would not work with tiles I used, but looks great.

Bought this together with DELTA FAUCET T11892 Addison - great combo though a bit pricey. Typical installation, no issues so far after a year of using.

Excellent quality works perfectly, although the instructions for which postion does what is not accurate. Works great none the less

Installed in shower. Follow the instructions for set-back from finished wall closely and will work fine. Also if soldering, soldier laying flat to avoid solder running into the valve body and messing it up.
