Wilkinson M Series Stacked P90 Soapbar Ceramic Single Coil Pickup Neck Pickup 10K for SG LP Style Electric Guitar, Cream

Great sound. Not as muddy as Gibson or Lollar 50s P90s.

This is a really good sounding neck pickup. I had to use my router to deepen the pickup route by an 8th inch or so. Took a couple of minutes but just know before you buy. The pickup is quiet and sounds just like I had hoped

Amazingly fat tone, very clear also. It really transformed my modified Tele into a tone monster (body routing and pickguard modification was required). I really like the sound of single coil pickups and with this stacked pickup you get the best of both worlds. I’m not easily impressed and honestly had mixed results from some of Wilkinson’s other products like tuning machines but I would highly recommend this pickup. Follow up: I have this a 5 star rating. I had only used it at home at low volume levels. After playing it at stage levels I discovered that it’s very noisy and has quite a bit of hum. My single coil pickups are quieter than this “humbucker”. It’s not usable so I’ll be trying other combinations out.

I guess it could be a good pickup but, mine came used all the wires had really old plastic on them and it just fell apart bummed

What do you expect for 30 bucks, great sound, sits flush, comes with screws. Recommend not splitting the pickup in terms of mods. Leave as it is sounds better

This Pickup hast been used before and the Sticker at the bottom hast been removed. Also the cap hast scratches. the Pickup itself Sounds quote good

フロント用に購入 普通のアルニコ5P90が歪ませた時は特にノイズ気になるので別のスタックアルニコ5に交換。 それはいまいちおとなしすぎるのでセラミックの方も試してみようと再び交換。 こちらの方が自分の好み。 多分スタックアルニコよりセラミック独特の高域が目立つ効果というべきかフロントにはこちらの方が良かった。 普段はセラミックマイクは敬遠してます。 ノイズはない(気にならない)為スタックにして良かったけど、スタックでないアルニコ5P90の方がやっぱりP90の良さはあると思うので、ブルースや歌物中心の方には必要ないかもしれません。

Never got it wired up as the stacked coils make the pickup twice as deep as a traditional P90. I have a solid body Les Paul Special style guitar and the cavity route was too shallow to install.
