This is a great little ice cream maker. It quickly (25-35 minutes) whips up a quart of your favorite ice cream or sorbet. While the instruction manual is short on detail, the operation is pretty easy and intuitive. The noise level is moderate, but by the time your ice cream is finished, you welcome the silence when it stops churning. Cleaning is easy and quick, but you need to be sure you clean the top rim where the motor housing connects to the machine body. There are electrical motor contacts there that need to be very clean for the motor to run when the top is closed. The time you need before starting another batch is minimal. I’ve found that the time you use to empty your current run is sufficient to begin running a new batch. I’ve run 4 consecutive batches, giving me a full gallon of ice cream, with no problems of stress or overheating the motor. When you compare this machine to others that run well over $200 or to those that require you to freeze a container for 24 hours before you begin making ice cream, this quality, economical ice cream maker is a sure winner.Update 07/12/2022I’m still enjoying this great little machine. I have used it to make a LOT of ice cream & sorbet. I love NOT having to freeze a bowl before I start making my ice cream. I usually run up to 10-12 batches, back to back. It has never once overheated. This is a very reliable little machine that has never failed me in any way.

The media could not be loaded.  Nothing to dislike about this ice cream maker! During Prime day sale I searched, read reviews, debated about which one to purchase. I really didn't want to spend $200.00 or more. I saw this one for only $129.00 I was hesitant because of the low price and I didn't know the name brand. I decided to purchase. Oh my! What a bargain!! I wanted a compressor ice cream maker not one I had to chill a bowl in the freezer. Very easy to clean. Warm water, little Dawn dish detergent. Done!There's an option to run machine to chill before use, I used it once as well as used without it once. Worked great either option.The ice cream in pictures is not actual ice cream recipe, it's made from a protein powder added with fat, I used butter, and water. For those that are curious if Keto Chow protein mix will make ice cream in this machine and will clean easy, the answer is, yes! So glad I purchased this!

This was a Christmas gift for the whole family.Super easy to use - no parts to freeze ahead of time, just add ingredients and go.Perfect consistency everytime - you can make your ice cream as soft or hard as you want depending on how long you let it run.Seems to be durable - we used ours more than once a day, almost every day for a few weeks right after Christmas and have continued to use it at least once a week since and it's still running great. On a few occasions we have taken it out for a crowd and have made several batches in a row and it hasn't had any issues.

We are using daily, experimenting with recipes, love a great dessert. Making sugar free vanilla ice cream, which is why I got unit. Six of us can have about half a cup each out of mixer, perfect for my family.Pros: This unit works well for small batches. It cools the mix. It makes ice cream in 30-45 minutes.Cons: No recipes came with this, no instructions. It is not complicated, but had to use internet for recipes and reduce for half quart container.

We are a very ice cream friendly household. My husband works 2nd shift and every night before bed he has to have some sort of ice cream to settle his stomach and prepare him for a good nights rest. It has been a really long time since we made some good quality ice cream so I decided since his birthday is around the corner I would surprise him and order this neat ice cream maker. Now this set up is a bit nicer than im used to. As the old maker we had you had to leave the bowl in the freezer. So you could never whip up some ice cream in the spur of the moment because the bowl would need to freeze beforehand. That is not the case with this set up. Nothing needs to be prepared before which is great for me. I am working on getting the perfect recipe together however every one I try is always so yummy. I am surprised at how simple and easy this machine is to use. All you have to do is power it on and it does all the hard work for you. It keeps the ice cream cold and continues to stir it so that you can easily make a little over a quart of ice cream in 1 sitting. My husband couldn't believe it when I made him a bowl and it was actually home made and not store bought. This ice cream maker comes with everything needed to go from a boring summer day with no swee treats to the best day ever with homemade ice cream in probably under and hour. Highly recommend if you are in a household that enjoys a frozen treat every so often.

I made two batches of ice cream at separate times. When I pulled it out to make a batch, the motor just doesn't turn on, doesn't stir. Nothing....The icecream it made was fine, but waaayyyy tooo expensive for 2 small batches of ice cream.

I had been looking for a device like this for quite some time. I didn’t want a unit that you had to freeze the mixing bowl in the freezer prior to use, or the hassle with ice & salt. The finish product always depends on the recipe which one uses, so, I can’t comment other than myself being a Chef, everything tastes great. With that being said, it would be super if Costway was able to produce a recipe booklet of 10-20 different recipes geared for this unit. Unfortunately some people aren’t culinary savvy, so the potential for failure is there. Other than no recipes, certainly a 5 out of Five Stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
