I have been hooked on Dr. Lipp since 2020. I worked as a RN and during Covid, my lips were so dry from wearing masks constantly, and I just needed to put a little bit on, and it would last HOURS. I put it on before bed, and my lips are still moist in the morning. It may seem a little expensive, but with daily use, it lasts me 4-6 months, shorter during the winter, longer during the warmer months. I’ve recommended it to many coworkers, friends, and family, and have got them all hooked. I also use the Dr. Lipp hand and body on my hands during the winter for chapped skin, and my granddaughters face (we were in Chicago in December and she had bad wind/cold burn, she was 10 months old at the time, and we found this to work better than Aquaphor and CeraVe, and it was safe for her face, because it contained nothing that would irritate the skin or her eyes, if she got it in them). I love this product, and it’s the perfect size to carry in a small purse.

The is THE BEST lip balm to heal severely chapped lips, and to prevent them! I have always struggled with dry, chapped lips and I’ve tried so many different products, and this is the best one I have found for actually healing and also preventing. It’s thick and a bit sticky but doesn’t need to be reapplied often. I bought several of these six packs and included one with everyone’s Christmas gifts. It’s a little pricey, but worth it!

I love this product. I first came across it in one of those monthly beauty box subscriptions. There is the small size that has the built-in lip applicator but I feel this larger size has more value for the money, and I still can apply it directly to my lips, even if it isn’t as smooth as the smaller bottle’s lip applicator. And because I have to use my fingertip to spread it around my lips, I then excess to rub on my cuticles and then both look great. Very moisturizing. (I lost my bottle and I’m ordering another because that’s how much I like it)

This is the best chapstick I’ve ever used. No more dry lips and the product lasts super long.

I have very chapped lips. I have now tested 3 different products, plus compared them all to Now Pure Lanolin. Lanolips is one of my favorites, only need a very small amount and although it's thick, it seems to heal and has a slight gloss. It seems more pure than Now brand. It does not have a slanted applicator, but will be carrying this in my purse and one at home. Dr. Lips Original Nipple Balm is thicker on the lips like Now Brand, but has a slanted edge to apply, but I find the best purpose is for very dry skin, which one can get from the Now brand for a lot less. Lansinoh Lanolin Lip Balm is very good too, easy to carry in pocket or purse. It isn't as thick as the others, but is glossy, I have found I have to reapply more often, but has a slanted applicator, so very easy to use, I bought the small package that comes in a 4 pack, so very handy to have for purse and around the house. Out of all 3, I like Lanolip's the best for very chapped lips and also very dry skin.

Edited: I originally rated this as 3 stars because the tubes seemed to be under-filled, but I’m changing my review. First, because I’ve learned about how the filling machines work—due to the viscosity of the balm, the tubes can only hold a certain amount before exploding! These ARE filled with the appropriate amount. Also, I’ve repurchased the multi-pack small tubes multiple times because this is truly the best balm for my lips that I’ve ever found. It works like nothing else on the market and causes no sensitivity issues for me… which is common with most other balms I’ve tried. I’m a Nipple Balm customer for life!! Original review: The balm just came in the mail about an hour ago, so I can't speak to the product's longterm effects yet. (I'll update in a few weeks... if I remember!) For now, I'm giving it 3 stars because: 1) It has absolutely NO smell or taste. NONE. 2) It feels really nice and it's long lasting! I put it on as soon as I opened it (an hour ago) and it's still nice and "thick," but not too thick at all. If I used more, I'm sure it'd be like I'd just put on a different brand of heavy lip balm. 3) The box was packaged very well with quality outer plastic and another seal under the cap. Both were really hard to remove/tamper with. Although it was annoying to open initially, I appreciate that I can be sure that I'm the 1st person to open it! However... I'm deducting 2 stars because: ***THE TUBE IS ONLY HALF FULL!!!*** I looked for a "contents are measured by weight, not volume" note on the packaging, but found nothing. I have plenty of other products with tubes just like this one and they've always been FULL. For the price of this stuff, I don't think this is acceptable! What's up with this, Dr. Lipp?!

I got a trial size of this from an Ipsy box a few years ago. It just sat in my drawer, with all the other sample sized things I didn't think I would use. As I was going through and throwing things out, I smeared this on my lips to test it. It was super thick, and didn't have a weird taste so I kept it. I started using it at night before bed when I washed and moisturize my face, and in the mornings my lips feel so soft and moisturized! I used all of the trial size one in about 6 weeks (the trial size is 3ml and because it doesn't take much, it lasted a while!), so I ordered more on Amazon. Same wonderful product, and a great price for the size! It's actually one of my Subscribe and Save items now, so I'll never run out again!

I honestly can't tell you how much I love this stuff! It stays on for a LONG time and works so well!
