Great device! Consistently reliable
I love this device! It holds a charge really well and gives a smooth, consistent grind every time. The reverse button is a game-changer for breaking up those super dense nugs, and it cleans so easily. I’ve had mine for over a year and it’s still working perfectly. Highly recommend!

If used correctly, this grinder is great!
I have pretty bad arthritis. Even those hand crank grinders are hard to use because you still have to screw/unscrew them. This grinder uses a magnet. Not only does that make it incredibly easy to load but it also plays a pretty important role in helping this thing work without jamming. I have found that as long as this thing is used correctly, it truly does never "jam". 1: Loading. You absolutely can not overload it. Do not put more than 1g in. It says 1g capacity right there in the product page title, so this isn't a secret. Also, break it up a little bit. If it's very dense stuff, nothing bigger than a large pea. Fluffier stuff has a little more leeway. Lastly, only place herb in the open spaces on the detachable piece. When putting it on the grinder, don't force it down all the way if it doesn't want to sit that way on its own. Forcing it just compresses the herb making it harder to grind. The magnet will hold it as long as you don't overload it. 2: Grinding. This grinder was designed to be used in both directions during normal operation. If you press the button and it stops, you need to change direction. It's not jammed. You may need to do the back and forth a few times before it starts grinding smoothly, but that's how it's supposed to work. This is why it never "jams". 3: Storing/Charging. This is the one thing I don't like about the design, and also what I suspect may be a potential fire risk. The grinder is designed to be placed on it's back, pointing the funnel straight up. That's also where the rocker switch is. Now if you place it on a flat surface, it's fine. The switch won't get pressed. But there's not much clearance. A little bit of debris is all it takes, and it's a very sensitive switch. Here's what makes this a hazard: When the motor is overloaded and stalled, it's completely quiet. I haven't opened it up, but if there's no overload protection on that motor, it will sit there stalled out until it overheats. If you put it down wrong and it's "jammed" you could very well not notice. Luckily, the mitigation is easy. Just place it on it's side when you're not using it. Still, this is something I would like to see the manufacturer address in future versions of the product. At the very least, add a thermal fuse to the motor on the current version. All of that said, the ease-of-use alone is what gets 5 stars out of me. This really is the most accessible grinder for folks with hand strength/dexterity issues.

Love it
I recently purchased the Mamba Original 1g Gray USB Electric Herb Grinder and I am very impressed with its performance. This small portable metal herbal grinder is perfect for grinding up herbs and spices in the kitchen with ease. The machine is very easy to use, simply place your herbs or spices into the grinder, press the button, and let the machine do the work for you. The grinder quickly and efficiently grinds up herbs to the perfect consistency for cooking or smoking. I love that this grinder is USB rechargeable, making it convenient to use anywhere without the need for batteries. The sleek gray design is modern and stylish, and the compact size makes it easy to store when not in use. Overall, I highly recommend the Mamba Original 1g Gray USB Electric Herb Grinder for anyone in need of a reliable and efficient herb grinder. It has definitely made cooking and preparing herbs much more convenient for me.

OK But Would Recommend Changes
I have very mixed feelings about the "Mamba Original 1g Black USB Electric Herb Grinder". My aging hands disliked the effort to use hand grinders so I finally chose this electric grinder as a replacement. Timely arrival and very similar to the product photo page. However, if I could do it over, I now know what I didn't know before. First, I would order a 2 gram or bigger grinder since this 1 gram grinder only handles tiny bits of herb that must first be pulled apart and then inserted into the grinder teeth similarly as in a mechanical grinder. The grinder did do an excellent job of reducing the herb to tiny pieces and the forward/reverse button is very useful in the process. Secondly, I would order a grinder with metal teeth as this one uses plastic teeth on the removal half and metal on the permanent half...I suspect the plastic teeth may erode quickly with use. I have only used it once to reduce about 7 grams of herb but I sense that the all plastic construction, the demand on the battery, and the inside gearing portend a short life. It worked OK the first time albeit the user still must reduce the herb to smaller pieces that can fit in the mixing area around the teeth...I just have little confidence it will stand up to periodic use.

great inexpensive grinder
Out of the box, its great for the price. Its all plastic, so i don't know about longevity. charges with USB C, its light, the level of noise youd expect for a grinder. It grinds to a perfect consistency, it has a "forward and reverse". I use it as i would a manual grinder, a back and forth motion. i am pleased with the purchase. I would recommend this as inexpensive option.

As a self-proclaimed herb enthusiast, I was intrigued when I came across the Mamba Electric Herb Grinder. Its claims of dispensing herb products 8X faster and with precision-milled teeth sounded too good to be true. I decided to give it a shot. Upon using it, I found that it did live up to its claim of dispensing herb products faster than hand grinding. However, the texture wasn't as fine as I had hoped, and the one-handed use took some getting used to. I was skeptical about its certifications, but I appreciate the therapeutic benefits it provides for infirm hands. While the Mamba Electric Herb Grinder may not be perfect, it does have its redeeming qualities. It's easy to recharge with the included USB lead, and the clear-cone spout prevents contamination or spillages of expensive product. So, is it the future of herb preparation? Only time will tell. But for now, it's worth considering if you're looking for a convenient way to grind your herbs. Oh, and if it ever needs to be serviced, the insides are simply a single 18650 battery along with greased gears and a can motor.

I did film a video. But thought better of it. Fantastic electric 'herb' grinder. The blades are sharp. But with the cap, Safe! Saved me a lot of pain in hands and arms. So simple to use and charges quickly. Highly recommend for people that struggle to grind herbs manually.

I was struggling to grind my flower (CBPM) with the manual grinders. Broke a couple and gave in. I love this machine. The top comes off easily and you just break the bud up and put it inside then replace the lid. Hold it over your funnel and it goes straight in. It’s not too heavy for me told hold and far less effort than manual grinding. No faffing about with pollen and gauzes, just the full meds in the perfect size. I only have one niggle, and that’s that the plectrum type thingies for cleaning the clear funnel are just scratchy. Far better to pop it open, run your finger round, or use a vape/IPA wipe. The back and forwards motion is ideal while you’re learning the knack of it, as you do sometimes need to jiggle it in both directions especially if you overfilled it by mistake. Two bowl fulls will grind enough for 8 x 0.15 dosing capsules in no time. To make life easier, I also suggest a clay modelling tool that looks like a mini spade to help pack it in the capsule or bowl. Not cheap, but definitely worth it for painful hands.

I have carpal tunnel in both my wrists and using a manual grinder becoming extremely hard so I got this. And it's FANTASTIC. So easy to use. Does not weigh to much and it sits perfectly on it's back ready to fill and start. And the stuff that comes free with it brill

Works like a charm. So much better than a hand grinder. Well worth the money.
