I've tried a few dog muzzles but this was the best one!
We bought this for our wolfdog, fit is on point and was the best muzzle, per her, compared to other muzzles that were plastic or silicone (she HATED the silicone one even though it looked so comfy). Although she is not an aggressive dog per se (aside from being picky about which dogs she likes in general [huskies are her fave]), she became aggressive towards the new husky puppies that we had purchased for her to be her companions after her bestfriend passed away and she became depressed. Though the puppies loved her, she didn't and would exhibit aggression. So to break the ice, we bought several muzzles and this one was the one she preferred the most. She didn't paw at it as much, the cage did not poke or choke her, it was easy to give her treats, she still was able to drink water, just not bite the puppies. It sat in her nose bridge comfortably and it was long enough to have space between the cage and the tip of her nose (some muzzles were not long enough and her nose would press on the cage, big no-no). She also had a hard time getting it off so that was a plus on our end.I will say that, being a metal cage and all, it does hurt when she pressed her head onto my leg or bumps it on us, but it's a price I'm willing to pay so that eventually she just calms down and accepts the puppies, which after 1.5 months she finally did and no longer needs the muzzle. I still keep it because on outings with other dogs, she's can be a little unpredictable. It does make her look like Hannibal, but that's a plus really lmao.TLDR; if you have a large, long nosed dog and need a muzzle, this is the best. It's truly durable, sits more comfortably compared to other muzzles, sized just right so that it has room between the nose and cage, and difficult for dogs to remove. Highly recommend!

Peace of mind
My dogs nose is 11cm long and about 26 cm around. The Medium fits him right. The other reviews were correct, these run large in sizing. Also, the strap around the neck is quite loose. In spite of that, I still think this is a great purchase. My dog is very territorial over my house. This gives me peace of mind knowing he won't have the option to bite anyone (which he has done before unfortunately). He is a rescue and that behavior has been VERY difficult to correct. This muzzle makes me feel like its my house again, not the dog's house, and I can have guests over without fear. Thank you.

Great at stopping bad habits
I bought this to try and get my pit mix to stop eating poop. After trying everything else and also a soft rubber muzzle, he continued to eat poop, get sick and throw it up and also lick my kids after eating poop. His nose is about 4 inches long and 11 inches around so I bought him the medium size. It fits perfectly besides having to punch a hole in the strap that goes around his head/neck area.He was actually some how able to grab a piece of poop through the muzzle, he couldn't get it in to eat it but just walked around holding it so I ended up taping the front with some duct tape and it has completely fixed that problem. He is still able to drink water, even with the tape, but I take it off when I notice he wants some water. He also seems to like it more than the rubber muzzle we first bought.

Straps suck
I had gotten a Medium for my Belgian Malinois and XLarge for my Flat Coat Retreiver. Although the muzzles are fine, the straps are horrible, before even going on thr dogs, 90% of the rivits came undone and we had to reassemble with zip ties so we could use them. Also we had to put holes further down the strap because the holes provided are unrealistic for any dog. I would not get these again.

Mom Approves, German Shepherd does not
My german shepherd gets a little “feisty” at the vet and likes to make sure everyone knows she runs the show, specifically by showing her teeth and reenacting the moves of police canines that you’d see on tv. It was strongly suggested I muzzle her for everyones safety. This type of muzzle was recommended so the vet can give Raena treats and try to befriend her while also staying protected. Raena refuses to become friends with anyone at the vet (regardless if they have treats) however, no one has suffered an injury thanks to this muzzle. Overall, it’s a win.
