POWER 1000w Power Supply, Fully Modular, 80+ Gold PSU

Likes: I won't walk through the specs and the tech data...if you are here you've already scoped that out. EASY for even a layperson to install. Well (but not over) packaged. Decent written instructions included. My first fully modular P/S. Was concerned I'd get a package that was short on "needed" parts. NO WORRIES. Great cable package; the cables are quality; all black; plenty long for any app. Qty's listed on website as included are accurate. Being able to power test the P/S prior to install was nice and the needed plug included. New install screws included (that I didn't notice until I had it installed w/the old ones). It's a good 1000W power supply for the $$ spent. This was an upgrade from an 800W / different brand. I'd buy again.

I built a system to be a media creator, which means that much of the time it has relatively low resource demand. But it is also called upon often to process and handle very large video data sets. During these periods the system resources peak which requires a surge from the power supply. It also means the fans and AIO will spool, which draws additional power as well.One way to ensure system failure is to underestimate the required power. In addition, one may want to consider future upgrades that may increase the nominal power draw. So 1000W makes more sense when you build a power system and think of it in these terms.I really like the smooth delivery of this supply. Before installing it in the computer case I tested its outputs and found them to be remarkably stable. It is also a quiet operator and has a modular design. One can get non-modular power supplies for less, but the modular design allows one to use only the necessary cables and hence dispense with managing unused lines. It has no LED lights, but in my case the power supply is completely confined and invisible, so LED wouldn’t matter anyway. Keep placement in mind if you’re looking for that feature.Sufficient power in a smooth, reliable delivery is the most important factor. And this box has that. It also came with a full set of cables - I would have been surprised had it not… I do however like that they came in a nice pouch with zip ties and cable ties as well. This PS feels and acts very high quality. I’m happy with it and I don’t believe more expensive supplies offer anything better.

I rebuilt my system, going to an Intel 10900k. I had been using a nearly 10 year old 1000 watt OCZ Fatal1ty power supply. That power supply had been with me though quite a few builds over the years and I had never had an issue, and I still don't think it's actually bad. However, when that PSU was made, I don't think the engineers ever thought that CPUs would pull over 300 watts of power. When I built the new system, firing up games or benchmarking software would cause the computer to instantly shut off. Just like if I had yanked the power cord right out of it. I spent a while searching for a new power supply. The ARESGAME 1000W checked all the boxes. It had the wattage, it had exactly all the cables I needed, the length I needed, the cables are just a clean looking solid black that are bonded together instead of loose, and the price was right. It still amazes how many good power supplies are out there that STILL use ketchup and mustard cables bundled in a mesh. Why hasn't every manufacturer moved past this??? The Aresgame looks and feels like a quality power supply. Since replacing my aging OCZ, I haven't had one shutdown when stressing the system. It fixed my issues and so far, I am very pleased!

Being the first time I've ordered all of the parts for a computer and built it, I've had 0 issues with the PCU. I've been using this computer for about two months now and haven't noticed any problems. This PCU is reasonably quiet, I haven't noticed it over anything else in my room, it was as simple as installing about any other PCU, the price is pretty good for 1000W, it comes with a nice bag to hold your excess cables, and it being fully modular is great for wire management and coloring. I can't give a review yet on just how this product lasts over a year or more and I'm still in need to get my hands onto a new GPU in this bone dry market to actually push my power usage. I'm stuck with a GTX 1070 Ti in this overpowered computer for now. However, so far, I'm very happy with it and would recommend it.

If you use this PSU for mining, you can only connect 2 GPUs (if they have a double connector each). I would recommend connecting something like a 3080ti or a 3090 to this PSU. It works great, but the cables are not braded and kind of stiff (wasn't an issue for me). It's quiet and is running well (been using it for about 2 months).

Let me start off by saying the packaging is deluxe just for a power supply. The embossed design is stellar and I love how the power cords came in it's own little zipper canvas bag. The power supply itself works fantastic and no DOA - unlike my previous. The reason I went with this supply is to run my 3080 and ryzen 9 build and so far it is running great.Previously I bought a SeaSonic supply since they are suposivly the best in the business, but that is far from the truth. That supply died and took my motherboard with it. Plus when they said I had to pay for expedited repair and RMA I was done. SeaSonic is nothing compared to Ares and I plan to buy future supplies from them in the future.TDLR this power supply has great package design. Flexible/strong cords, and top tier functionality. Go for it!

This is a great power supply. A nice bag for your extra wires and velcro strips to hold all your plugged in wires together easily for good cable management. Super easy to install and the noise level is great too. I can never tell if the low hum I hear is my cooling fans or the PSU. I honestly think most of the time the AGT1000 is completely quiet. Great purchase.

ordered 2 of these for stock... didn't try them until AFTER warranty was expired... BOTH WERE DEFECTIVE

I had my doubts going for a less known brand for a 1000w PSU, but at the same time I was on a budget and most of the known brands are either insanely priced or out of stock. I looked at the reviews for AST1000 on amazon.com and took a chance buying it and I am so glad that I did!!! I was having multiple issues with my existing PSU as I upgraded my gpu to RTX 3090 and all my issues instant solved by replacing with this PSU. Amazing performance!! I have a Kingpin RTX 3090 which was drawing more than 520watts of power alone and I stress tested both overclocked gpu and cpu for more than 2 hrs ... zero issues and PSU worked flawlessly under load. Professionally packaged with lots of modular cables ith high quality materials feel. I highly recommend this PSU!!.

This power supply has a great built quality. Noise level is pretty quiet for my daily heavy use. Amazing packaging, comes with psu jumper for testing, 3 pcie cables for gpu etc. I think they also sell additional cable if needed at cheaper price. I've been using it for a few weeks now, so far no issues and no coil whine either. It's overall a good budget psu with decent quality. 1000w at this price range is a steal!

This little unit blew me away, I was skeptical at first given other manufacturers costs but oh boy was I pleasantly surprised. It is incredibly quiet, provides more power than I need, is very compact and stays cool, and is at a very budget friendly price. I highly recommend getting this power unit for any build.

First, It came in a professional packaging. Very easy to install. I got every cable I needed for my build and more. Well, the PSU is working great for me. I must say that I was sceptic for the price, but it came out working perfectly.I recommend this PSU. Really good price.

This is a great power supply! It is easy to install and easy to carry around. It also comes with enough PCI-E cables. It has does not make any noise. Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a power supply!
