Sports Research® Collagen Beauty Complex - 30 Servings (Unflavored)

I have been using this for eight months. I do think it has helped my skin and my hair seems to grow a bit faster and is a bit thicker so I am overall happy with it. It blends easily into any beverage and I can’t tell it difference in flavor change

So far I am enjoying the collagen. I really like that I do not taste it. I mix it in my coffee every morning before my creamer (otherwise it gets clumpy) . Im on my second month so I haven't got a chance to start to see the benefits from the other collagen I was taking which had all different kinds. I started taking marine bc my hair was falling out and they say marine absorbs better, so we will see

While I don't think it has a fishy smell or taste, it does slightly alter the taste of what ever you mix it into. I tried it mixed into a glass with a strawberry watermelon flavor packet and water, stirred to mix and then added ice. It just tasted less sweet, but not fishy. The second time, I mixed it into a room-temp 8 oz bottle of Gatorade Zero (grape flavored). Same thing as before, it just tasted less sweet. Both times I used 1 Tablespoon of the collagen and not the included scoop (because it was all the way at the bottom and I didn't want to fish it out (no pun intended); and each time the collagen dissolved with no issues. With that being said, I probably will not be adding this to my morning coffee, and stick with mixing it into a fruity type of drink. I have only used this product twice, so I cannot say how or if it has improved my skin, hair or nails. ----------------------------------------------- Updated Aug. 31, 2025: I have used this product off and on since the original review. Still most of the container left. It still mixes well into water, and does not have a fishy taste. Still not brave enough to try in my morning coffee. I haven't noticed a considerable difference in my hair, but I have been using new hair care products & men's rogaine so there is that helping. I have set a timer in my phone, so I can remember to take this every day to really see if it helps before ordering another tub.

Excellent quality! Noticed benefits less than 1 months in when paired with their tribiotic. Flavor in coffee is a little different, but not bad (I drink black coffee). It blends perfectly in smoothies! Nice and simple to use and dissolves really well in cold and hot drinks. I haven't noticed any significant joint and pain relief yet, but my skin does feel smoother and look more vibrant and hair smoother and more shiny. Just ordered my second round. Only negative is that there was not 30 full servings. My first order arrived on June 28. I have used one scoop per day (per instructions) and al already ordering another one (July 21). I actually ran out 3 days ago but was out of town.

I found that taking Collagen, overall, really made a significant positive difference in my hair growth and quality. Unfortunately, the one I started with (NON-Marine) gave me AWFUL DIARRHEA, especially since I made the mistake of adding magnesium supplements - but even when I stopped the magnesium. My doctor sent me for all kinds of tests (blood, stool, x-rays) for 4 months, with ALL SHOWING "No problems here". So I had to stop the one I was using, and then, over a period of the 4 months, I tried 4 OTHER BRANDS/TYPES (grass-fed, etc). and EVERY ONE GAVE ME THE SAME, ALMOST INSTANT Diarrhea. So I gave up trying. Recently I discovered that MARINE collagen like this (with NO EXTRA ANY OTHER INGREDIENTS) COULD LIKELY NOT CAUSE THE DIARRHEA. THEY WERE RIGHT! I kept waiting for the diarrhea side effects, even though I started using this in 1/4 the amount recommended (which I also did with all the others). NO SIDE EFFECTS - YEA!

Huge fan of SR powders, my body handles them well and I always experience results (IBS constipation/diarrhea issues, this does not worsen my issues so far ). I bought this item when there were no reviews, and it's almost nice to see that order issues happen regardless and they wouldn't send me the perfect item just looking to secure good reviews early. There is a measuring or weighing error happening here and I received about half of what I should have. It was 1/4th full upon arrival (my guess is for these packs 1/2 full is typically what is considered full) and I was able to scoop 14 scoops at the most. Rounding to 15 based on maybe random powder floating up and away or a little spilling from the scoop, really any accounting for error, that is still only half of what is advertised. 15 out of 30 servings is what I received. Marine collagen I realize is more expensive and I'm thankful to be able to purchase a month's worth of marine collagen and extra beauty benefits in one cute little nifty tub, I just can't afford to have to buy two of these to equal out to one month worth when one month worth is what is promoted here in one tub. SR collagen is unbeatable in my opinion and I have switched and swapped between other brands without as much success as the results I see with these products. It's likely you will notice hair growth, improved skin hydration, and minor to moderate joint relief, it's also possible you will run into errors with measuring and be sorely disappointed. I will be ordering again in the future and based upon if I receive the proper amounts next go-arounds, I will be updating with more detailed information on my continued results and changing my review to fit my next buying experience.

I cannot smell or taste this in my coffee or other liquids. Also neither can my daughter who plans to buy this instead of what she usually gets. This said, I have used it now for about a week so have yet to see results.

Suger spikes after drinking once .So sad also on the container it says nail and skin and hair support .Did not mentioned bone support .I have bought this to support my bone cartilage.Bone was main . I will try one more to see if it is spike my Suger it will go to bin

I'm 43 and noticed winkles forming on my neck. I was using another brand that was bovine and MCT oil. Then covid hit and now I can't get it anywhere. It's like the brand just disappeared. Odd.. So I stopped taking the collagen for awhile. Then I got to looking in the mirror and noticing that my face didn't look as tight as before and my neck as getting wrinkly. I felt like the witch from Snow White.. I didn't know there was a difference in marine collagen vs bovine other than surf or turf. I read up on it a little and decided I'd try the marine type. At first I could taste it in my coffee. I frowned when drinking it. I only use half a scoop in a 12oz mug. It's been a month now since purchasing and I don't notice any taste, only the coffee. It doesn't want to dissolve with MCT oil added. I use a milk frother to give it a quick stir and it's fine. It dissolved on its own without the MCT oil. I started noticing that my skin was looking younger just after a week of use. I will continue with the marine collagen, I think I'm having better results with this than I did with the bovine collagen. I recommend this product. Just know that you might taste it at first, and give a week or 2 to "set" in.
