Lock and Love Women's Casual High Waist Solid/Tie Dye Fold Over Flowy Long Maxi Skirt

I am a really odd shape, at least I think I am. I have a lot of belly fat that makes my waist 40-44, somewhere around there, and which makes me have to buy 2X items so my tops do not cling around my middle. BUT the rest of my body looks better in a less bulky XL everywhere else...legs, arms, breasts. A 2X is oftentimes just too much material in a 2X skirt. So, this often leaves me in a bit of a dilemma as for what sizes to order in my clothing. That is what I LOVE about these lightweight, summertime, cool material Lock and Love Women's Basic Tie Die Foldable High Waist floor Length Maxi skirts! Not only are COOL for summertime wear, but they also STRETCH to comfortably fit all the parts of my body attractively. I also wear support stockings on my legs from toe to knee so I like to keep my legs covered and these skirts do the trick and are actually even more comfortable for me than shorts! YAY! Untucked tops cover the waistline where the skirt fits close, but the 2X tops I wear cover that part!, I did put a bit of a strain on the seam stretching this skirt when I put it on over my head, but that's because I chose to get the XL which I am still glad I did. One slight problem I had comes from each skirt is sewn in a different country, I think, because sizing is not always exactly consistent from one skirt to the next. So, one was tighter around my waist, but I was still able to make it work, so everything in honkey-dorey! Thank you SO MUCH for making these absolutely lovely skirts!

Nice soft fabric. Very comfy. Looks just like the image. I ordered the recommended size and it looked OK & felt nice but after wearing a few hours, the weight of the fabric would pull it down at the waist. I tried washing, hoping it would shrink but it didn't. The fit was exactly the same after washing. (Which is actually a good thing) I was afraid to get a smaller size as I didn't want it too clingy but I'm glad I finally did. The smaller size fit much better and stayed in place without having to constantly pull it back up. So if you're trying to decide, I'd go with the smaller one, especially if you plan on wearing a top covering your problem areas. Others have commented on how thin it is. I didn't find that to be an issue in the printed fabric. I can see where it could in a solid color though.

I'm a petite, curvy (4 ft ll inches, 101 lbs) woman. I live in Florida, and my secret is I purchase maxi length foldable high waist skirts to wear as strapless sundresses. I was thrilled to find these on Amazon and decided to try one. It arrived today and love it so much, I'm ordering two more colors! My first order was the aqua in a Small, and it's a gorgeous shade of blue that reminds me of Caribbean waters. The material is soft, with ample stretch, and glides over a curvy body without being clingy. The length is perfect for me to wear with sandals because the folded waist is pulled up over the bust, making it a strapless dress. For my height, it can be pulled up and kept folded, and fits my 34 bust perfectly. If I were to wear it as a skirt, it would definitely need quite a bit of shortening. If you're taller, and wanted to wear it as a strapless dress, you could pull it over your bust "unfolded" to provide the extra length. I wear my "strapless dresses" for everyday casual, and for dress. Great dresses for vacation wear! They pack easily, look stylish with a wide brimmed hat and sunglasses for lunch and shopping, or a statement necklace and wrap for evening! Now that you petite women know my secret, give my styling tip a try and get ready for the compliments! I highly recommend this seller for the excellent quality of this product! I'm hesitant about buying clothes online because I need to try on everything, feel the material and see the item up close and in person. This skirt is everything I want in a maxi skirt. It's flowy, sassy, and super soft and comfortable! And it looks like it does in the picture, so I was really pleased. Some of the reviews stated that some of the skirts are thin and see-thru. If you purchase white or other light color, then expect that the material might be less opaque than the darker or patterned colors (as with any other brand of clothing). However, the material is not thin. It's about the same thickness as whatever blouse, skirt or dress that you wore to work today. So, the material is along the same lines as other skirts you already have in your closet. If you are planning on wearing this skirt on vacation or to the beach, then expect it to wear like any other light, flowy vacation attire, where you most likely would not wear a slip underneath, but you would be quite comfortable. If you are planning on wearing it to work, then wear a slip under it just like you would any other skirt or dress. This skirt is perfect for summer to wear with sandals, flip flops, stack heels or cute sneakers. In the winter months, pair it with thick tights and boots, or with leggings, cute flats and a jean jacket and you are out the door. I just got mine today, and immediately ordered FOUR more! I haven’t washed it yet, so I can’t comment too much on the quality. The fit and colour are really nice, I’m optimistic it will still look as great after a wash

I really wanted to love this skirt, but it’s so thin. I bought one in solid red and you can see my powder blue panties underneath it…hmmm…I’m probably going to return it. It would need skin coloured panties. I’m 5’8”, weigh 146 pounds, regular size 6 (US) sizes. The length is good. I bought large and it’s snug but not too tight. The hem is good, it’s not higher at the front or back. I like the shade of red too. I just wish it was better quality. It arrived today, I won’t order more. Probably will return it because I won’t feel confident wearing it.
