Stonfo Comb and Brush Fly Tying Tool ::: PETTINE COMB

Have been tying flys for 45 years and had been using a regular comb to try and remove guard hair from deer hair. Saw this tool and ordered it. The teeth are close enough to remove the guard hair effectively so that the deer hair can be stacked. The other end works great for removing dubbing from a hare’s mask or a patch of hide like musk rat.

Great little brush. On the brush side the Brussels could be a little longer but over does the job well. Would recommend this product.

I like the item however, it is made of plastic.

Great to prep feathers for fly tie fishing.

A simple tool but one which works as advertised. Durable enough for my needs.
