I bought this set a while ago when I started to crochet. They are made well and in my opinion good quality tools for blocking. I didnt use them as much in the beginning, until I started to crochet some garments. They are a LIFE SAVER when blocking crocheted or knit items. The blocking combs are sturdy, super sharp (be careful!) and come in 2 sizes. Having the extra T pins was a huge help especially when needing to keep a straight line between blocking combs. The tape measure is a plus! I would recommend this set to both novices and well seasoned crocheters!!

I have crocheted and knitted my entire life, and somehow gotten away with not using block pins. What the heck was I thinking?! this particular set is perfect for those uninitiated to using blocking paraphernalia to finish your yarnwork. I like to use the bare mattress of our guest bed to set my projects. I love that this set comes with a variety of options for blocking your work. The individual pins are great for detail while the pin cards are perfect for large surface areas. The pins are the perfect depth for even thick projects like blankets. And everything stores very conveniently in a single storage case. These are great by and I highly recommend them.

Exactly what I was looking for. It comes in a sturdy case, nicely packed. I like that the T-pin boxes lock securely and I love the that the tape measure comes in its own little case too. I will definitely order another set. If you've blocked large projects, you know how frustrating it can be to keep everything in a perfect line. You definitely want a set of these. 12/2/2021 UPDATE: I've blocked several projects so far and the pins have not rusted.

Mixed feelings about this item. I ordered this one because of the box - which is flimsy, doesn’t stay closed well, and is too small. You have to fiddle around to get everything to fit in there, and I honestly don’t want to have to spend all that time just to put something away. There is a cheap tape measure included which I would have rather them put more money into the quality of the box then add a junky little unnecessary tape measure. The pins themselves are sturdy and do the job just fine. But if you’re going to buy this set for the ease of storage, skip this and find a better one.

These blocking pins are a great addition to my crochet and knitting projects. I use to not block items because it was such a pain but with these blockers you get enough hold to actually work without using a ton of individual pins. I wish I had splurged and bought these years ago. This is a MUST have for crocheting and knitting projects

These blocking pin combs make it easier and faster to get the edges of my knitting straight. I do not enjoy blocking, so this is a great improvement over using just T-pins alone! I use the T-pins for curved areas, and the pin combs for straight edges. They are good quality and store compactly in the plastic case.
