Front Door Speaker Mount Adapter Plates for Honda Civic 2006-2011 6.5"/6.75" 165mm Stand Ring Kit 1 Pair + Wiring Harness

Does exactly what it's supposed to. 2 mounting brackets for 6.5" front door speakers that fit perfectly on my '06 Honda Civic sedan. The wire adapters also fit perfectly onto the OEM plugs. FYI, the White wire on the adapters is the positive (+) as it should be. I double checked against the factory color codes for the speaker wires just to be certain. Left front dash tweeter positive (+): red, negative (-): green Right front dash tweeter positive (+): pink, negative (-): blue Left front door woofer positive (+): light green, negative (-): pink Right front door woofer positive (+): gray, negative (-): brown Left rear speaker positive (+): yellow, negative (-): brown Right rear speaker positive (+): blue, negative (-): orange Subwoofer positive (+): green, negative (-): red

These fit perfectly with a set of Infinity Reference 6532EX speakers in a 2007 Civic sedan. Cheap adapter rings like these usually require cutting or drilling or other modification to fit but these were spot on. I just peeled the foam gasket off the original 15 year old blown OEM speakers and stuck it on the back of these to get a tight OEM like fit. No complaints with the wire harnesses either, installation was very quick and easy.

I’m happy I was able to install my speakers although it didn’t fit correctly, but I still managed to use it (it’s just not hooked up properly). But other than that the adapter was a correct fit & I can now listen to music without blown speakers lol, just make sure the speaker mount will fit your speakers.

Price is fair,includes adapter harness, fit correctly. Would be an improvement if the screw holes were threaded or included some screws to match the thickness of the speaker adapter. I had to cut off the excess length on my speaker screws but I would still purchase this again if needed. Worth the money and minor inconvenience. Fit my 07 Honda civic rear shelf speakers opening just fine and aftermarket speakers fit properly, needed to drill a hole through the speaker outer ring to accommodate the main mounting bolt,and that's just necessary because of the universal nature of aftermarket speakers.

While I wish the brackets were a little thinner, they did work in both the front and rear doors of my 2012 Honda CRV. The quick connect adapters made the speaker installation so easy. I'm so glad I did not try to splice any wires. I could have, but the value proposition of this kit made it unnecessary.

If you are using these for a Honda or Acura - the screws are useless, as they are too short. It turns out that I did not even need the wire harness, which is what prompted me to buy this package. The main things that I needed were the speaker mounts, but these seem to be of a cheap quality than ones I bought years ago. No company seems to make them with the thickness and strength of the stock brackets. These were not perfect and the screw holes were only good to be aligned in one position. The biggest problem was that the stock bolt (which you HAVE to use) would get in the way of the speaker, so you almost have to 'do things' to get it to fit. One of the things that I had to do was to drill a bit into the speaker frame so that it would not protrude as much. On the other side, the other speaker just slide under the bolt - but I had to work fast to screw the speaker on. Overall, this will do, but I wish that someone made higher quality items, complete with the sound deadening foam already on it.

I bought these in order to replace my factory 2012 Civic speakers. They are a direct fit replacement for the oem (awful) speakers on this car, N the frame fit perfectly into the speaker hoe on the door. I'm using a JVC speaker set with them, and the installation required me to drill new holes in the plastic frame to secure the speakers to it. That's really not an issue, as this is caused by the speaker alignment holes. The harness fits great and has a secure click that keeps it in place. For the past months I had no issues what so ever. For the price - it's a must have for everyone who wants to replace bot front and rear Honda speakers
