Very good replica of Shin Godzilla
I've been a Godzilla fan my whole life and I had my fingers crossed that this moderately priced figure would live up to the reviews. It does. It's a sturdy semi-pliable plastic with a matte charcoal finish and a decent amount of detail. Teeth are painted on, and the dabs of red simulating a radioactive glow aren't that impressive, but I wasn't willing to spend over $300.00 for a collector's quality version and this one is great, for the price.

Shin Gojira Figure Review Pt 1 Bandai Japan
Hello and Welcome G fan's and Fellow Kaiju collectors to our next figure review today we will be looking at the Bandai Japan Shin Godzilla figure this figure comes from the recently released movie (シン・ゴジラ ) Shin Godzilla which is still in theaters at the time of this review. I won't spoil the origin of Godzilla since I haven't seen the movie yet but that could change. To start with the only accessory this figure has is a Movie Monster Series Tag which is pretty standard for the Movie Monster Series now onto the figure it self the Design, Detail, and Paint job is beautiful especially since this is a new Toho Godzilla. The only minor problems interms of paint is the eyes and the positions of hands aren't what they are in the film but that is it but other wise a great figure. The articulation of this figure is pretty standard for a Bandai Japan figure it has 4 points of articulation with it being the Arms and Legs. The figure is a 6.5/ 6 and a half inches tall and the tail of this figure is really long. for a size comparrison here it is along side the Bandai Japan Godzilla 2000 first release and Bandai Creation Buring Godzilla first release, Next we have it along side the 8 inch Godzilla 2002, here it is along side the SH Monster Arts Godzilla Junior and Neca Godzilla 1954, next we have Shin Goji alongside the Bandai Japan Gamera 1999, and finally here it is along side the Neca 2014 Godzilla and Bandai Japan Godzilla 2014 interms of size comparions it is much taller than most 6 inch figures and almost as tall as a 7 inch figure. So Buy it now Skip it or Wait for a deal This Godzilla figure is a must buy for G fans this figure is raising in price so I would recomend getting it for under 30 dollars and nothing over it unless you have to. if you want a more detailed figure you could buy the Xplus figure or if you are want a Shin Godzilla figure with more articulation I would say wait for either the expensive SH MonsterArts version coming out in Japan this November and later in the USA this December or wait for the Neca Version which is to be painted this September with a supposed release date for this WinterI give this figure a solid 9.5/10See you guys then

One of the best Bandai Godzillas in a while
Was surprisingly heavy, more so than I thought it would be. This is a good thing, as the figure is very stable on his feet, and can stand well on a tilted surface. While the paint detailing is a bit lacklustre, the sculpt more than makes up for it, and with a few Gundam markers/Poscas you can easily fix the paint up yourself. In total the figure features about six points of articulation, which is more in line with the current crop of Ultra Monster sofubis. However as a strong word of advice to younger or more inexperienced collectors, DO NOT attempt to break the glue seals on the tail, as you could very easily end up ruining your figure if you tear the vinyl too hard or too softly. He scales up well next to other Godzilla sofubis, and rightfully towers over the Movie Monster Series' Legendary Godzilla(Long live the true King of the Monsters!)He also looks pretty good when compared to Kaiju sofubis from other lines, namely Gamera and Ultraman. Was well worth the price I paid for him and I would happily recommend it to fellow G-fans or collectors of all good things Japanese.

Absolutely Amazing!!!!
I purchased this Godzillia for my son and he absolutely fell in love with it. It's been he's favorite figure to play with since he's got it. I highly recommend giving this a try you'll definitely be satisfied and so will the kiddos. He's played with Godzillia for so many hours and it's really well made. He's used this toy in water, mud, sand you name it he's played with it in some way. Its very well made I can't believe how long he's played with it for. I promise it'll give your kiddos plenty of play time and hold up to whatever they throw at it lol. It's a perfect size to play with and let their imaginations run wild.

Really good likeness and pretty durable
At first I was a bit worried about toe because it looks just like a $5 version that can be ordered from a Chinese site, but after getting it and comparing the 2, this is much better. They look exactly the same, but the feel, build quality, articulation is much better on this. It's worth the money, as my son is rough with his toys and the other broke within 5 min, while this is still going strong after a week.

TOHO has been making these limited articulated figures for years...and they keep getting better!
I started ordering this style of Godzilla toy for my10yr old. He has a new interest in Kaiju movies and Shin Godzilla was the first we watched together. This Shin is a decent representation of the characters near final form. It has neck, arm and leg single point movement. The paint is pretty good considering. The only other alternatives for Godzilla figures are the little 3 inch or the same sized S.H. Monsterarts that cost $100+ , these Bandai 7-8" a great compromise. Cool toy!
