1725, Welcome To 2017!
1725 by Histoires de Parfums is a beautiful, complex, and well balanced outdoorsey aromatic fragrance that's been around for 15 years already. Is it a "vanilla" scent? Not at first. Peppery start that softens into a very nice, high quality, respectable sweet scent. High quality barber-shop vibe often compared to another called Invasion Barbare, but usually considered better as well as less expensive. Performance is above average and the scent itself is way above average -- so well regarded by those in the know!

This is a company I have long admired for the historical approach to recreating long-forgotten French fragrances ! I have 1828 and the two latest ones I purchased which I love.

Not my cup of tea
I bought this after reading reviews saying it was a "woody oriental" must try. I don't smell those notes at all. It just smells like talcum powder. I wish I kept the box because I would have returned.
