My kindle died and after a bunch of research, I landed on a Boox tablet to replace it. I read in bed and my kindle case had a perfect cover/stand that allowed me to rest on either side and have it supported. Not so with Boox. I like the case I have but when I’m on my left side, there is no way to support it well and if I fall asleep, I often get an unpleasant whack-a-wake-up as it tips onto my face. I’ve tried pillows and other props and nothing holds it securely enough. Enter this item. Set it up last night and when I woke up this morning, it had survived a night of rotisserie chicken-esque rolling over in bed all night with my Boox still secure on the stand. I’m impressed. And glad to no longer worry about getting a clunky wake-up from my e-reader.

I have now had this propper-upper for just over 7 years. I am currently using it with a Kindle Fire10, which is just over 10" tall. No issues with it sliding out or falling out of the place where it rests. I use it for reading in bed. Prop it up on my stomach. Can adjust to whatever angle I want at the moment. I sometimes might fall asleep that way and have woken up with the device and Kindle still in place. I don't know what I would do without this. I have arthritis in my hands and this is a huge factor in allowing me to still be able to read a lot. Also use it when doing video calls when holding a cell phone for a long period starts to wear on your arm / hand. Have used it for hours and hours at a time and don't have any issues. (Besides it would be great if it came in some other color besides just black. Hint, hint.) I can use the handle to carry it around with my Kindle leaning on it too. Doesn't grab and hold the Kindle like some kind of vice grip, but it is seated well enough that unless I tip it out deliberately it is stable. So, excellent longevity as I am still using it daily after 7 years. Other models of this type of thing are much bigger and I also like this one because it is big enough to do the job without being bigger than a breadbox.

Well designed, too lightweight. The tray at the bottom hold either my phone, kindle, or tablet securely and I appreciate the slot to feed a charging cord through. My only complaint it the little foam beads are far too lightweight to keep even my phone stable. I fixed that issue by emptying a bag of dried navy beans inside and now it is very stable.

I have a 4th Gen iPad mini and spend a lot of time reading on it - newspapers, magazines and books - and some time playing games. For years I'd used stands I got on Etsy for almost twice the price of the iProp. My original stand wore out and I was unhappy with a design change and an increase in price and decided to look for something else. I was skeptical of the iProp because it was so small (half the length of my old log shaped stand) and lightweight but it had great reviews and was relatively inexpensive so I decided to give it a try. After using it for hours over two days I love it! It's much more stable than it appears - I've had no trouble with it tipping or falling over on my lap, in bed next to me, on the kitchen counter, etc. Given the stability, I like that's it's smaller and lightweight because I take my stand when I travel and this one will be much easier to pack. I also love the hard support for the iPad, and the fact that the shelf part of the support has an opening for a charging cable (i.e. you can charge the iPad while it's on the stand and being used). Very well designed and constructed - It's the best stand I've found for my iPad and I've looked at many over the years! Recommended.

Anxiety was high while waiting for the iProp iPad Lap Stand and I must have read nearly every review before tapping that Place Order button. But I'm so happy because finally, I've found the best lap stand for my iPad Pro 7.9! This little gem exceeded my expectations which were very high after buying so many stands and wasting time and money. It fits lightly on my lap and poses perfectly wherever I choose to place it. However, there was a problem. There is a small hole in one side of the cover which may have occurred during shipping as the package it was shipped in had a rough ride. I contacted iProp customer service and within the hour I was contacted by Colby. A replacement cover is already on its way and I can not say enough positive things about the experience with iProp customer service. The iProp bean bag lap stand is one of those simple yet tremendously useful products that one doesn't find very often. The quality of workmanship is excellent! The price is reasonable! It's lite weight and allows for adjustment via simple manipulation of the removable bean bag! It sits literally anywhere! Absolutely, wouldn't change a thing about it! UPDATE: Received the replacement cover from iProp yesterday. It's perfect! After nearly a week of using the iProp lap stand I can honestly say it's still perfect and I'm so happy with the purchase.

1) kindle falls over as it is too upright to hold it in place. I took out the filling and replaced it with an old thick sock. Now my kindle stays in place. 2) turns off the kindle. The surface where the device (kindle) sits in is made out of firm plastic and as the on/off button of most kindles is at the bottom the kindle will turn off just by sitting in its intended place. I placed small rubber bumpers on the outer edges so the kindle sits on these two bumpers and the on/off button does not touch the stand anymore. This fixed the problem. I was looking for a SMALL kindle stand to read in bed and with these two fixes it is the best solution I could find. So I am very happy. But they should not advertise this stand as kindle compatible.

I absolutely love this product. After researching all products and reviews, I ordered this not knowing if it would really do the trick. I wanted something to use while reading my kindle in bed. I had been using the Maxboost I had gotten soon after I received my Kindle. It was a great protective cover since I could keep the kindle in it, take it with me and flip it over to protect the front, but as far as reading in bed, it was a no go. It didn't give enough support and didn't stay upright. Enter the iProp. Yay and double Yay. The bean bag bottom makes it flexible so that I can position it just how I like it. The kindle doesn't fall down or fall forward and hit me in the face anymore and I am hands free as I had to sort of hold the other one to make it work. I still have the Maxboost cover attached and the kindle fits in the iProp with it on so no hassle there either. I have now used this in the kitchen to prop the kindle up while using a recipe while cooking. You can use it virtually everywhere and it even fits in my purse. It's a gem for sure. The cover can be washed and there is ample room to store my headphones in it while traveling. It's been a while since I have ordered something that actually worked and I was this happy with. Great product.

Love how light it is and small. Use it for my e book when reading in bed.

Despite having a cover on my ipad mini that acts as a prop/support, I do find that when sitting in bed or in a chair, that my ipad is either so low that the bed covers obscure the lower part of the screen or it just wont balance properly. I already have a very pretty cos-e-reader wedge-shaped ipad cushion (about 3 times the size of this one) which I use at home, but I was looking for something as good, but more compact that I could take with me when I travel or on holiday. I did a great deal of research both on Amazon and elsewhere and finally chose this cushion. The reasons are: Size - Being about the size of a cantaloupe melon or just over the size of a DVD (but ball shaped!), it's perfect for travelling, being small and squishy enough to take up little room, but big enough to hold my ipad very easily, indeed I cant imagine it would have any trouble with a full-sized ipad Removable cover - this is very easy to do and is a drawback of my cos-e-cushion which is beginning to get grubby from bed-time hand cream routine and breakfasts in bed :) This cover is completely removable/washable. It reminds me of the old "airtex" shirts from the 80's! Removable plastic support shelf - this basically has press-studs which attach it to the cover, so couldn't be easier to remove. Carry handle - not in and of itself exactly a selling point, but is very helpful when transporting an armful of items. A useful addition. Most important was the shapeability. I have read many reviews of other cushions which might look the part, but have so few or too light a filling that it is impossible to shape properly. Although the "beans" in this cushion are neither heavy nor over full, it is very shapeable by squeezing and pushing once your ipad is on it and allows you to position it to the perfect tilt. I actually then just drape the cover of my ipad over the back of the cushion. Overall, you may gather I'm very pleased with my purchase. If I had one complaint, the colour is boring, but then you cant have everything! There is always room for improvement!

I wasn't sure if this would work. I thought it would be too small to do the job. I was wrong! Very happy with the versatility and the compact size. I am using this with my ipad pro 12.9 and have no problems with stability in landscape or portrait.

Si comme moi vous êtes accro à la tablette (iPad 3 dans mon cas) pour visionner films et séries dans votre lit, ne cherchez plus, cet accessoire est fait pour vous. Maintient parfaitement la tablette et s'adapte à toute surface. Certes un peu cher mais tellement pratique que j'en ai oublié son prix dès la première utilisation.
