Seven Wonders Book 5: The Legend of the Rift (Seven Wonders, 5)

I can't review just this final book without tying it to the series. They are all terrific! Well thought out plot that moves along smoothly, quickly and thoroughly well-developed. It takes the reader to fabulous places few of us will ever see and some none of us will see because they have passed into history. Peter Lerangis brings them alive with terrific word-crafting, well-developed characters and settings, and a very creative plot. Not to mention the entire series is very well edited. I will miss Jack and the others. Excellent middle school series!!

Loved the series, was kind of disappointed with the ending. To be honest I don't know how I would have ended it, but there was so much build up it was a little disappointing. However, the story was great, love the characters. It's a great series, highly recommend it!

The books were well written and kept my attention. The author was very descriptive, I was able to picture the events and landscapes of each event. I enjoyed how he developed the relationships between characters. It is a series I would purchase for my students, as I am a librarian.

I would rate this a 5 star series, I only have read 2 series that made get goosebumps and start crying, The Rangers Apprentice, and this one. I cannot explain how much this book has made me feel and it makes me terribly sad to know that The Legend of the Rift is the last one. I would recommend this book to young readers and even adults, this series is just a great read for any age. :D

I actually missed the release date by 24 hours, which amazed me. I thought I had pre-ordered! That's because of how much I enjoyed the first four books in the series, you see. This book takes up about half a second after the fourth book ends, and things are looking pretty grim for our hero and his friends. They're all about to die, one way or another, unless . . . . Okay, I won't spoil that bit. If you haven't read any of these, just start with number one and work your way up. There are several shorter works, set in the world of ancient Atlantis, that have come out between these five novels. As the author says in the afterword, it's a tough world to leave, and I'll miss it. But, live goes on. At least I can report that it goes on with the Seven Wonders series available for anyone to read, and that is truly emoswa!

When I first found the seven wonders book one I fell in love with this series I am sad to see such a good series to end but you know what they say all good things have to end eventually

Love it but I was sad to see it end. Great story, great characters, and such a pleasing ending. I just wish that the time had not yet come and I could see the story possibly stretch farther than it did and yet it ended the only way it should have and I was pleased to see it done so beautifully.

This book is amazing and i will read it again and again. The ending was a little too fast but otherwise it was OK. i still don't get the part when the seven ore gets together. The last part.

I love this book series. I would say that it is an excellent read for ages 6 and up, with a fun story and some true facts about ancient history.

This final book is much better than 2 previous books. Jack, Marco, Cass finally work together to find the rest of the Loculus in order to rescue Aly from the rift of Atlantis. There is a lot of humorous situations, even when they are swallowed in the belly of a beast. The end of the book is kind of abrupt but HEA.

Daughter (10) loves the series and this book didn't disappoint.
