Cheerwing 25" RC Brushless 30 MPH High Speed Boat Large Racing Remote Control Boat for Adults and Kids

I bought a new red boat and tried it 3 times. water leaked inside the hull each time. It reaches Lipo battery, motor and other components. I had to unplug the rubber plug to drain water after each drive. I dried the boat each time. I inspected boat body but nothing obvious. I even put plastic bag around both top covers to insure no water leaks from there. Yet, water is found inside with each drive. Cooling water tubes dont leak air when I blow air while closing the other end with my finger. I cant say it is safe to drive the boat in this condition. It is a high risk to LiPo batter, transmission device and motor. I will ask a question for the supplier to advise what can be done to fix it. Meanwhile, ill keep my review. I will update it if I got a positive response. The boat speed and handling is great. I would give it five stars rating if water leak issue is resolved.

Got this in April, 2025 and put it in the water within 2 hours. It's a fun boat, and stock right of the box it hit 23 MPH for me (I added a GPS odometer inside the inside cabin to verify). I've yet to adjust the trim tabs to see if I can gain a few more MPH, and I've got another propeller to try to gain a few more MPH. DO NOT DO THIS: I was able to mount a GoPro 10 to the top of this boat and got some cool shots, which I've included. Again, DO NOT DO THIS. I didn't have any issues, other than the boat running MUCH slower, but I expected that. And, the boat's self righting feature WORKED with the GoPro installed on the top of the boat. Since this is a VERY popular RC boat, you can purchase additional drive shafts, inside and outside cabins and extra batteries. Highly recommended as maintenance is quick and easy and we're having a BLAST with this RC boat.

Awesome boat out of the box. $60 metal upgrade kit for $60 takes it to another level in durability and performance. It's super fast, Large and alot of fun. I highly recommended buying at least 2 extra batteries.

This boat is so freakin fast and turns on a dime. I live on a houseboat. I have ran full speed into my docks many times and this boat has survived. The steering is so super sensitive that it is easy to run into things if you are playing to close. I lost the cockpit cover on the second day.. I recommend taping it on and putting foam on it so it doesn'tsink. I crashed into my friends boat and the battery came loose and broke the water cooling line so it filled my boat up with water. I am having electrical issues but after it dried it will be fine. You can get all of the parts on this boat online but the delivery time is a month away. You can order extra batteries too. The battery plug is common so it is probable you can use other batteries but they will require a different charger. I just ordered a white one so my friends can play too.

I saw a youtube review by a husband and wife team that I trusted who shows the best aspects of the boat. I bought it based upon the review. I only was able to sale the boat only. It is fast actually very fast. It was the best 3:30 second of r/c boating I have experienced. While using the boat the range was less than 100 yards . I have a Harbour Freight boat that has double the range. That is right the boat only lasted 3 and 1/2 minutes, then the controller signaled that the battery was low and place the boat in 1/4 speed to ensure the boat was able to return to shore. Back in my home I opened the hatch and found 1 or 2 drops of water (excellent). I also found the battery connection fused and would not release. I checked the reviews and found one owner that had the boat catch on fire, so this was not a 1 off issue. I happily returned the boat. Please do not waste you time with this model.
