Good, but refills break easily.
The pencil itself is fine. It's the marking part that bugs me. The ine I got had 12 refills, more than half we broken, some in pieces too small to use. They perform well enough to write on smooth or rough surfaces, but are best on warm material. Easy to use and versatile enough to welding and inspection work. The value would be better, if the most of the refills weren't broken.

Writes as well as a crayon would. But what's with all the busted refills? This is limited after opening the package. Do better!

Should be ashamed to sell such junk !!!
This purchase was highly disappointing. I’m a Union Carpenter. I try to buy quality tools that are American made. After receiving this purchase I will avoid buying anything Markal. The so-called Trades Marker is so cheaply made with thin plastic that it never worked then cracked trying to get it to work. The red lead is nothing more than a red crayon that barely writes on anything but paper. I would have made it zero stars if I had that option. Don’t waste your money like I did !!!!!

Para mi no hay mejor marcador para plástico y otras superficies lisas. Aguanta el paso del tiempo y el agua, y se borra con una goma. Las utilizo desde hace años, pero ahora me veo obligado a comprar un lápiz nuevo si necesito minas de recambio, pues sólo vienen en un pack. Espero que vuelvan a vender recambios pronto.

Markal è un'ottima marca, però questo formato così sottile non va bene. La pasta delle mine è troppo rigida, poco grassa, e quindi per scrivere bisogna fare forza e le punte si spezzano. Consegna effettuata puntuale con confezione in perfetto stato. Reso fatto senza problemi consegnando l'astuccio in un punto resi Amazon vicino casa.

It’s a grease pencil, couldn’t expect a huge difference in the filler, just the casing. Being square, it can be a little awkward to use but once I used it a few times, seemed to adjust. The material it’s made out of is durable too.
