What is the grade of this cheesecloth?

It’s Grade 100 from what I read and 100% un-bleached cotton. For Straining, Cooking, Baking and all!!! I was pretty happy with my purchase all around 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

I just opened my package and it smells horrible, kinda like mold. is this normal? or did i just get a faulty package? it was vacuum sealed though!

I didn’t have any trouble with mine at all. Maybe you’re just wasn’t completely sealed or something?

How do you wash the cheesecloth?

By hand or on delicat cycle / low heat dry

Would this be suitable for making oat milk?

I purchased this specifically for oat milk. It makes a royal mess. You want to know a secret? A regular one handed strainer (https://www.amazon.com/Good-Cook-6-Inch-Strainer-Aluminum/dp/B005Q0TJ0Q) works great for oat milk. I haven't bought oat milk in months. I use these cheesecloths for other purposes and love that they don't fall apart when being used or in the wash. Try oat milk with a regular mesh strainer.
