They have a beautiful sound compared to the light weight strings I had on it before.

Upon opening this package of strings, I found 8 strings inside, doubles of strings labeled 1-4, I have no idea why there are two of every string as the package says nothing about that. Furthermore, the string length is too short at 33 inches, which is about long enough from tailpiece to the first tuning peg, no further, on a standard 26.25 inch scale length banjo (Deering Goodtime). Thus, I could not use these strings. Seems like maybe the pack I got was mis-packed at the factory, as this pack seems to contain two sets of what seem like tenor banjo strings given their length.

I am returning them; these strings are too short, probably Tenor length but I don't see anywhere on the package that says they are Tenors ... Also, 8 strings total (2 of each). I am guessing they were packed incorrectly.

The string guage in the product listing on Amazon is 11-26-18-13-11I received a package that looks nothing like the listing and is 11-22-13-12-11.Extremely dissatisfied. Blatant false advertising
